When booking in we were given a card as a breakfast booking, but it wasn't explained. When we found our room there was no cool water provided. Nor was there any surprise there, although this was promised on our online booking documentation. However, on returning to reception a gentleman attended to us. He was very polite and apologized. He then provided a bottle of wine of our choice, plus 2 bottles of water plus a small box of chocolates. We thanked him for his service.

Rang trying to find accommodation in Melbourne with parking at 10 PM , the reception were very helpful and I was grateful to be able to have a bed plus a safe place to leave my car overnight. For a short stay was a little expensive.

We got an accor gift card for our wedding and the drama we have had trying to use it has been disgraceful. I would NEVER recommend accor to anyone as long as I live. The mis information, can only book certain hotels at certain times, pay in full, don't pay till you get there and the list goes on. Would never use accor or stay with them ever again. Not that I think this feedback will ever be reviewed. If this was my business model, I would sack the person who wrote it! Anyway the sebel was nice and the staff there were excellent, but accor really soured our one year wedding anniversary....

We were unaware of access restrictions to the pool. When questioning this I was told that I should have known. The site described true pool and showed pictures with no obvious notes it was not able to be used by hotel patrons. When we were given access (I think someone book us in a a permanent resident) only 3of our 4 family members could go. This was a large area (well exceeding the old requirements of 1 person per 4sq meters). Whilst I understand the limitations COVID has put on many business, communication is key and in this case was missing. The manger was nice and apologetic and gave us a nice bottle of wine. What we didn’t report at the time (as I didn’t want to make a fuss or change rooms) was the sticking door (rm 407) that was unable to be opened by our children and required significant force for me to open it. The door on the second bedroom was off it’s track and too heavy to pull closed. These things didn’t affect the use of the room but did add to the feeling of not being happy with our overnight stay.

Amazingly helpful staff. Best of ANY motel I have stayed in.

Staff member came with my father I law to help show him car Parking he was nervous accessing. Helped him park car. Above and beyond in my opinion. You allowed us a late check out with was important to us for some medical purposes. We were allowed the keep the car in the carpark until later which was massively convenient for people that are not very confident driving in the city. Would and have recommended your motel to many!!

My wife and I were extremely happy with our stay. The room was great and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had an oversized rental car that was hard to park and the hotel staff took all the stress out of ensuring the car was in a safe parking spot.

Had some confusion with the booking process through Accor but was sorted well by FOH. Only thing was room smelt musty, coming from bathroom. No exhaust system in there as fan wasn’t working and seem to have been coming from shower drain.

Rooms very well appointed, fantastic location, very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely weekend away at the Sebel Docklands Melbourne. Being an Accor 'Member for the Day' was terrific. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine upon arrival and enjoyed a late checkout. The only disappointing factor abut the stay, was the limitation of people in the pool area as my sister and husband were also staying at the Sebel but we could not enjoy the pool/spa facilities together as it was limited to just 3 people.

Check in delayed by an hour with advance notice. No offer off compensation until we requested. Had booked FOMO package, check in staff no awarer wanted to charge us for parking, we also had to call reception for the complimentary sparkling wine, which we expectedv to be in our room on arrival. When room was serviced, ammenities and towels replaced, bathrooms and other surfaces not wiped. Also concernces with hygiene of doonas only protected by thin cover and no top sheet and staff could not confirm when doonas are washed. Doonas should be changed between every guest to maintain and ensure adiquate hygiene. Disappointing no TV in main bedroom which is the biggest room and best view.

Hi Simon I am replying to your email re our stay for my Birthday on the above days. We were not going to say anything, but since you ask I will share our experience with you. I’m sorry to say it was not what we expected. I secured a good deal through Fumo thinking we can save a bit of money as we are semi retired and have not been to a hotel for a year. The whole experience was bad, from the time we checked in had trouble opening the underground car park, key didn’t work, lucky for us someone else was behind and they had a working key, so we went in too. Once we parked on level 6 we couldn’t open the door to enter the building, so had to walk down 6 floors to go back to reception to fix the problem. Finally got into our room, but the cleaner was still in the room doing the beds, we had to wait again. The floors and table was not cleaned, I called the reception and they said when someone comes in the next morning will do it. The next day we left the room, with the sign on the door to make up the room, after returning at 4.30 pm approx, nothing had been done. I called reception and they couldn’t see why it wasn’t done and sent a cleaner to co e up, once again whilst we were in the room to tidy up, not to mention the floors still were not cleaned, just quickly made the beds and changed the towels. This is bad service, sorry we were not happy. I tried to book the pool as soon as we checked in, even though I did it before we checked in on the day, they couldn’t find the message and said they will get back to me. Once they got back to me said the pool was fully booked on the Saturday and I could only get it at 9 pm on the following night Sunday. I agreed but was not happy, as there was no follow up call. That ended up being a disaster, the person at the desk walked me around the block to check in with security and I then had to walk back to the hotel with a key to go into the pool area, once finished would of had to walk back in the cold around the block at 10 pm in the night by myself to the hotel. But it doesn’t end there the key didn’t open the door to the pool, I was locked in between 2 doors, lucky someone was leaving so he let me in the pool. I was then in, but 2 sleezy men inside, made me change my mind and I left without even going for a swim. Had to go back around the block to get my licence back from the security man, who held onto it. What was meant to be a Birthday celebration, was not what I expected. Myself and hubby were quite upset, we just left Sunday morning, deciding never to return, the 2 female staff were useless and not helpful. The male staff member was a bit better, offered us breakfast on the Sunday, prior to us leaving. Overall below average. Thanks for listening. Tarnia and Con Z.

Staff was very helpful and friendly upon check-in. The room was quite stuffy and did still smell of the food from the previous tenant and the bathroom shower did still have some hairs in it so wasn't the best thinking that the room might not be completely clean. I wasn't able to get the heating working and the light in the bathroom was flickering (both things I did advise). Otherwise, the stay was really comfortable, location is great and the facilities were fantastic. I will still stay here again.

One thing after another, choose somewhere else, plenty of other options nearby.

This is just a summary of main problems. 1. Completely let down by front office arranging outside laundry. I arrived in Melbourne 3 days before check in, dropped my luggage, organized outside laundry, paid for it and then it wasn't ready for my check-in. Caused me uneccesary anxiety when I should have been preparing for the first day of a new job. 2. Staff unhappy, unmotivated and seemingly overworked. 3. Poor fire and safety during fire drill ... got lost trying to exit the hotel during the evacuation - not a staff member in sight. Locked in and couldn't get out to leave for 6am check out.

Having a rough idea where you are located, this helped me plan my approach, as I was traveling by car. Having to find a park outside in a dead end street whilst I completed the check in process was a bit clunky, but nothing big to worry about. Found the carpark entry once I did a turn. Carpark entrance and the entry process could be made more simple and more user friendly, but now having experienced the process, I will be much better prepared next time I visit, and I will definitely be back.

An overnight work trip was made easy. Good wifi connection and a comfortable room made working until early hours of the morning bearable. Great location made it an easy commute to the office, having onsite carparking also was appreciated.

Another good stay at the Sebel Melbourne Docklands. The staff are very attentive to our needs and requirements. Could not fault any nature of the stay. The room had a great view and was well laid out with kitchenette and two bedrooms and lounge.
