You are in the Ville Lumière and you cannot possibly complain. Rooms are refurbished yet they look outdated. The absence of air conditioning might be a serious issue during the summer. The WiFi is excellent, fast and reliable (and free). Breakfast is ok, you have what you need to start your day in Paris with the right amount of energy. The staff is wonderful, always there to help. Bus stop is just outside the door, Paris Metro and RER at short distance. Plenty of restaurants of all type and shops nearby.

Arrival was fine, friendly receptionist. The hotel in general is in bad state. We were 3 rooms, 2 beds were fine (very good actually), but one room was being smoked in and this was still everywhere in the room and also in the bed. The rooms should be better maintained. No fresh air in the room, no A/C. The isolation/acoustics between rooms and hallway are terrible. You hear everything (which wakes you up at night). Shower is good. Breakfast was as to be expected from Ibis, was good.

We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel at all. When we checked into our room the heating was on full blast and would not turn down. One of the hotel staff looked at it and assured us that in a few hours it would cool down. However when we returned it was still extremely hot and stuffy in our room. We then complained and were moved to another room, which had no heating at all. In addition to these issues, the bathroom had a horrible smell of drains, the room door had difficulty opening and the card had to constantly be reactivated as it wouldn't work. The lift also didn't work properly, meaning that we often had to take the stairs to/from the 6th floor. On the first night we barely slept due to noisy guests next door. The appearance of the hotel was also very poor and we questioned whether this was in fact a 3* hotel. Overall we were very disappointed in the hotel. We used ibis as we believed that we would get a better service from a trusted brand rather than a local independent hotel, but this was not the case. I will be issuing a formal complaint and requesting a refund. This experience has severely damaged the ibis brand in my view.

In line with other Ibis Styles. Room quite small, especially toilets. Beware if you are very tall, you will not be able to close the toilets door. Relatively quiet, even being in the centre of Paris. Close to metro Crimée and RER E Rosa Parks stations.

Hi, overall the stay was ok. BUT The elevator was not 100% working, I expect for this price an elevator which is working 100% I stayed three nights, maybe next time select a room where onyl business travellers are staying no other people who are 1am-2am in the night not silence, much talking, televsion, music on ..... I go to bed at 9:30pm and wake up 6am, not make "party" until 2am in the night. But area is ok, supermarkt, metro....

Dear Jacqueline, I would like to bring to your attention the very unpleasant, unbelievable and dissatisfied experience we had at your Ibis Styles Crimee La Villette -219 Rue de Crimee,75019 Paris,France hotel and I would like your serious attention to this very matter asap. Sheila N. made a reservation directly on your website on the 10th of July 2019(reservation number -HMPLGHQF) for 2 nights for 2 adults (13th Sept - 15th Sept 2019) for a total of 178.52 Euros breakfast included plus some special requests as you can see in the screenshot below. On Thursday 12th September she received an email at 16.35pm UK local time that the reservation was cancelled. Shocked as this wasn't done by her, her partner Jay called the hotel and spoke to Omar, he claimed the cancellation was due to card issues and the hotel was fully booked now. This annoyed us terribly as we booked this Hotel 2 months in advance. Barclays Bank also confirmed that no body attempted to collect money from the account that had money and even put us through to the fraud team to investigate, which they reconfirmed Ibis NEVER ATTEMPTED TO TAKE ANY MONIES FROM THE ACCOUNT AT ALL. Omar said we should proceed and travel to Paris that he will sort it out , we got to Paris and the hotel around 6pm local time or so and Omar who had total disregard for us, told us to stay in what looked like a room for staff opposite the reception which was smelling and not what we reserved, claiming the hotel was full. We told him we would not accept that, he refused to call the Manager, he couldn't even prove to us by showing us that there was a decline from the bank when money was attempted to be taken. In fact all he did was shout ,bully and push us to another hotel to pay, of which prices were much higher than what we budgeted and reserved 2 months ago. I suspect foul play here and would like this thoroughly investigated as I planned to escalate this to Accor Hotels and senior management including Sebastien Bazin and/or Thomas Dubere whether you are franchised or not, the brand name is still in use and I believe the values cut across the brands. We proceeded to finding another Hotel and ended up paying 245.52 Euros without breakfast for 2 nights at Ibis Paris La Villette Citee Des Sciences (just to ensure it was still Ibis and we could present this to the board and make the process easier). In total a difference of 67 Euros + 42 Euros (Breakfast that we couldn't have at the new hotel due to the prices of 10.50 Euros per person per day, the amount we had already incurred for the 2 nights stay were higher. Note: We spent almost 3 hours trying to resolve this issue from the time we met Omar to checking into the new hotel. The refusal of Omar to call the Manager which frustrated us the more and seemed to prove there was a manual cancellation done Also the cancellation which was not authorized by us was not inline with your cancellation policy on email Receipts from the new Hotel can be provided to show the amount we paid from the same Barclays card ,Omar claimed was the problem(this can be verified too). image.png I want a reimbursement of total amount lost 109 Euros ( in this ugly situation and visit to France which we have absolutely done nothing wrong in the first place. It's wasted our time, time in writing and escalating this (which I haven't included in the reimbursement) and money not budgeted for. I look forward to your response. Regards, Sheila

We stayed at this hotel during the BTS concert. It was very quiet and calm. The room was clean and comfortable. Normally for its price. The hotel was friendly and cute workers. I want to thank them for helping my friend and make a double bed. If I come back to Paris, I gladly stop at this hotel.

When I started looking for hotels in Paris I was stumped with the prices. So that is when I settled for Ibis Styles. Being Europe, the room size feels small, the corridor is small and the lift is small.But on the good side, the room is clean, it is heated, the bed is comfy and you have round the clock hot water.They put coffee and tea in the lobby and you can help yourself as much as you want. I liked the idea. What made it totally worthwhile for me and my sister, who were on a vacation in Paris was the friendly staff. A special mention to Mary and Omar! Omar you singing Bollywood songs was the tops. We miss you guys!My room rates included breakfast. The breakfast was decent, we had croissant, bread, cake, cornflakes, yogurt, some cold slices which were non vegetarian, fresh orange juice. tea/coffee and other choices from the machine. To top it all the hotel is at an easy walking distance from the Crimee Metro station and is located on a nice road with restaurants and a departmental store right across.If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel I would recommend it. It is comfortable but don't expect luxury.

Disgusting treatment at Ibis Styles Crimee

I am deeply disappointed and frankly disgusted by the treatment I received at Ibis Styles Crimee. The reservation was paid and I had checked in online. On arrival at the hotel Saturday 1 Sept around 22 I was denied to check in as I did not have copy of the credit card used to pay for the booking, since it was outside office hours. Having paid for the booking in full in advance, I was left stranded on the street without accommodation at 10pm on a Saturday night. Since then, I have unsuccessfully tried to get a refund but have been given the run-around by both the hotel manager as well as Accor Hotels Customer Service, telling me that the rate booked was non-refundable. The point is that I did not change my plans, and wanted a refund. The point is that I arrived at the hotel, intent on honouring the reservation and booking I had made, BUT WAS DENIED ACCESS TO THE ROOM I HAD PAID FOR. Honestly, this is not the kind of treatment I expect from Accor Hotels, especially as a Silver Card holder. If I was still I Paris, I would go and lay a charge of THEFT at the nearest police station!

I arrived around 7pm to a woman on reception who seemed more interested in talking to her friend sitting in reception than checking me in. I had been allocated a 1st floor room, but the lift was out of order. When I explained due to disability the I couldn't carry my case up the stairs, I was told I would have to wait until 10pm when the night staff arrived and a man would be able to carry may case upstairs. I left my case in reception and went to meet a colleague. I returned at 10pm, but the night staff refused to carry my case upstairs due to his bad back. The receptionist then allocated me a ground floor room. After some confusion as to which ground floor room, I settled in the room. I checked the window to ensure it was secure. It wasn't and had signs of being previously forced open. As a single woman, I felt unsafe. I called reception, who arrived and was able to secure the window with force. The shower door didn't close fully and the facilites were grubby. On the second night nearby building work persisted throughout the night, which at times felt like they were actually demolishing the hotel! Coffee from the machine at breakfast was like dishwater, although the food buffet was good. The early morning receptionist was delightful. I was hoping to be a regular guest at this hotel, but sadly this experience has made this unlikely.
