ibis budget Paris Nord 18ème 2 stars

Nice reception and lobby. External environment populated with and interesting specimens. Migrant and homeless everywhere. In fact, this Ibis is located on the frontier of Paris and thing happening around could seem shocking for a foreigner. Avoid night time.

Upon arrival the neighborhood was bad, we went to our room and were just going to deal with the stay. But someone tried to come into our room and that’s when we had to cancel our reservation and choose another place, it was horrible having to think about staying up at night to ensure no one was trying to get in.

Horrible surroundings with people harassing us everywhere. Hotel has a grubby feel although the stuff is very friendly and helpful. We moved out and forfeited all the prepaid money.

The room was basic but tidy. The bed was very firm bordering on very hard. Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice considering the location of the motel

Next a wrong Adv price, the IBIS’s Booking phone operator suggest us to stay in ‘one of the best Ibis hotel in Paris’. When we arrived there plenty of drugs dealers approach us. The area is full of drugs people and no police around. We was shocked for the 1st minute. We ask to leave but nothing. Very bad experience.

First of all. I trusted Ibis hotels and your group that’s why I simply ignored the Google opinions about this place. It was very wrong. Very dangerous neighborhood, with refugees begging for money and looking like their life is not important for them. I know that hotel has nothing to deal with it but telling me at the reception that the area Porte de La Chappell is safe is strictly a lie. Every Uber driver told us that this neighborhood is very dangerous full of violence and drugs. Second of all there was no microwave and no chance to heat the meal. Everything was “impossible” as the French receptionists says. The only good thing was the price. There was no chance to move out because of money so that we stayed. It was the worst experience I had with your hotels.

Fine for a one-night stay, not an area to be out solo after dark though. The staff were attentive and very helpful.

Reasonable value for Paris. Nice staff. Everything was fine...though the hotel is looking worn and old now. The carpet was not clean, the shower door didn't stay closed properly and the sink was partially blocked. They were minor annoyances that didn't ruin our stay.

The worse experience in IBIS hotel ever and also the worse experience in our long hotel history ever. Staff very rude, unprofessional, bad educated and a quick aggressive attitude. We payed for breakfast: the bread and most of the food was finished. On request for it we had to wait with any result. Dogs are only allowed in the rooms, but not in the lobby, even not for an couple of minutes. Location was a nightmare: very dangerous between a lot of homeless and junky's.

I would come back it was good and as expected of a budget hotel. Would have been great if there was better air conditioning, and maybe a hairdryer, kettle. Even for rent

The hotel was nice. Room too. The surrounding area is horrible but that’s something we were aware of before we arrived. Checked in earlier which was really good for us to leave our luggage somewhere and go out. Staff was helpful and polite, nothing was problem for them.

When I entered the elevator, it smelled and something had been spilled one the floor and not cleaned ! My hotel room was also dirty and the floor hasn’t even been hovered !
