The hotel was very convenient for the Metro and only 3 stops from the Gare du Nord. The room was very nice overall, and as requested, quiet and on a high floor. Excellent curtains which kept the light out. Everything was clean and well maintained. This is a personal preference but I would have liked somewhere to put clothes, rather than having to keep them in the suitcase for 4 nights, and a better bedside table with a drawer or a shelf. Four coat hangers was OK for one person. The breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice of items. One problem was the lift breaking down on my last morning, which necessitated several trips up and down from the 7th floor, including having to carry my (fortunately small) suitcase down to check out. Happily I am a fairly fit 72 year old, but I don’t know how I would have managed if not as there was no offer of help.

very nice and friendly reception staff, our room was one of the largest available we regret there was no plug for razor/hairdryer in the bathroom or near the mirror in the room

This is an older well located hotel with modern updates. The rooms are somewhat small, yet typical for the older areas of Paris. The breakfast buffet provided a nice selection of breads, cheese, and yogurt. Hotel staff were very friendly!
