Dirty, trashed and not secure.

TripAdvisor rating 1.0/5

Ben M TripAdvisor review

Very poor experience, Initially I was handed a room key to a room which was already occupied by another customers personal belongings (major security issue.) They then moved me to to room 2011 which was trashed, dirty surfaces and carpets, smashed up walls and tiles, a broken toilet and barely enough lights to see where you walked. It also had no heating. I changed to room 2014 which is the same very dated and worn out style with lots of damage to the surfaces and walls but at least this was warmer. I spend all little time as possible in the hotel that night and left first thing the next day. I have stayed in 1* €30 per night hotels in better condition, were cleaner and had better service.

Renovation needed

The hotel is well situated if you you need to be in "La Villette" area of Paris. The hotel is old and well in need of renovation. That said, it's clean and quiet as our room was at the back of the hotel. Overall the staff were kind and helpful, except at breakfast where I had to ask 4 time for them to refill the orange juice. Another negative point, we arrived back from a concert on a Friday night, at 22h50, they had closed the bar... in fact we saw the bar manager close quickly so she wouldn't have to serve many guests arrive back. Fortunately staff at reception managed to get us a beer and a glass of wine as we had a voucher, anyone paying by cash or credit card were not so lucky. It seems very strange to close a bar so early in Paris on a Friday night. Breakfast at 21 euros is expensive of the buffet on offer, but it does it's job. Overall, a good night sleep, helpful staff..... but needs a lot of work doing to it.

Affordable, comfortable, easy access to Philharmonie de Paris

We booked this hotel because it's just a short walk from the Philharmonie de Paris, so we can rest after a late-night concert. Check in and check out was effortless. We will definitely stay here again if we are to attend a concert at Philharmonie.

We booked this hotel because it's just a short walk from the Philharmonie de Paris, so we can rest after a late-night concert. Check in and check out was effortless. For the the price I paid, I am happy with my stay. It was clean, room was huge and we had a comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here again if we are to attend a concert at Philharmonie.

Very average experience. Rooms need a makeover. Very tired, maintenance required. Best part of my one night stay was the staff. All staff were VERY pleasant and attentive, pity they didn’t have a better product to sell. Leo in Reception was particularly professional, friendly and of great assistance.
