The location of this hotel is decent, but overall my stay was very disappointing. The biggest issue is the extremely poor soundproofing. I stayed on the second floor and could clearly hear people talking on the street as well as traffic noise, making it very difficult to rest. The second night was even worse. The guest in the room next door checked in around midnight and spoke very loudly for a long time — I could hear almost every word, which seriously affected my sleep. Considering the price of around €170 per night, this level of sound insulation is simply unacceptable. The hotel really needs to improve its basic accommodation quality, especially soundproofing. If you value a quiet environment, I would strongly suggest reconsidering.

A comfortable, friendly hotel close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Although only a short distance from the touristy Gare du Nord area, Louis Blanc is a lively, friendly area much frequented by locals.
