We had a family room, great that it had a second shower (unusal) but we didn't use it in the end as our toddlers too young to shower by themselves. Very helpful getting the late check-O. on our departure day (Silver member) when we have young kids! Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly!

The first night was quite refreshing at the heating system was not working. We had to reach out to reception who installed a portable heating system to mitigate the main issue.

The location is fairly convenient. It takes about a 10-minute walk to the Eurostar station and around 5 minutes to the nearest metro station. However, there are no convenience stores along the route from the metro station back to the hotel. If you need to buy anything, you have to walk in the opposite direction, which is a bit inconvenient. The only upside is that there is a restaurant directly across from the hotel. The food is good, reasonably priced, and it’s a convenient option for dinner. For a budget hotel, the room was clean and perfectly acceptable. However, the staff’s attitude leaves much room for improvement. From check-in to check-out, the staff were quite indifferent. Even when I greeted one of the staffs with “good morning,” there was no response. Perhaps I wasn’t loud enough, but the overall experience was still disappointing. Additionally, luggage storage after check-out requires an extra fee. I have stayed at other ibis hotels near train stations before, where this service was free, so this came as a surprise.
