The hotel is well located between several metro and train stations. It was easy to get to, and the location makes getting anywhere in Paris very easy. However, the amenities in the hotel were lacking. The selection of snacks and drinks via vending machines or at the desk were VERY limited, and the pizza we ordered was not even fully heated through. Our room was fine, although very small, but we woke up one morning to find all the paper that was lining the ceiling had fallen to the floor. The front desk tried to explain this away by saying the room had recently been painted, but it was very off putting and made the bathroom impossible to use that morning.

This is an excellent hotel, really close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, and very easy to get to on the metro. The manager there was particularly helpful, and clearly a great team leader. The rooms were modern and well furnished, and the air conditioning was very welcome. My top tip would be to ask for a room on the seventh floor, on the north side, and then you will have a lovely view of the Sacre-Coeur. This hotel is much nicer than the Ibis Styles Garde de l'Est Chateau Landon, so if you have a choice, stay at the Ibis Garde du Nord Chateau Landon!

The lobby was not clean, and the staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. I also lost my AirPods case during my stay, and my Find My app is still clearly showing it inside the hotel premises. I contacted the hotel about this matter, but I do not feel that enough effort was made to help locate it or assist me properly.
