I always trust booking.com ratings but sadly this time I was very much disappointed. The room wasn’t clean - stains on my pillow, no shower gel filled in the shower. The worst part of my stay would be your staff, after being charged twice (one by your hotel and once by booking.com) I was yelled at by your staff member when asking for a refund on this incorrect charge and spoken to like a child. I won’t be staying in an ibis hotel ever again- standards are below average.

Good but could be improved

The check-in was fast and I get all the necessary details for parking and a nice dinner in town. The room was clean as an IBIS room should be. However the outlet adapter did not work so I cannot recharge my laptop. Even in reception and restaurant there are no regular outlets (round ones) only slim versions. The bathroom door could not be closed. Since there are no leaflets in the room with the hotel info it will be nice to have the breakfast hours printed and displayed at the reception or at the entrance of the restaurant. Now we can see a lot of COVID notifications but the usual hotel info disappeared.

Good for one night

The hotel is well located near the station, but the area is a bit strange. Certainly not an area to hang around with your family. The room was okay for one night. Higher surfaces were dusty though. Shower/toilet were good, but the bath could have more room to put down things (a small shelf would suffice). Online check-in was not working and hotel could not help. Staff at the hotel was friendly, quick and professional.

Well located and clean

I stayed for one night There was no soap in the shower so you had to get out the cubicle and use the one by the sink which was inconvenient The lady at check in was rather « abrupt « and not very welcoming in her demeanour ( no smile , ...) but the lady upon check out was lovely The room was clean n quiet

I had to spend a few days in Geneva just before the peak of the Covid19 outbreak. The hotel is very clean which was greatly appreciated. Considering the rates usually paid in Genève, the price of this ibis was really fair. It is just 4 minutes on foot from the main station in the heart of a lively area with lots of Asian and Near East restaurants (which were takeaway due to the pandemic)

Clean and tidy hotel and a decent room. Nice and close to the train station. It is in the "red light" area of Geneva, but as its Geneva, it is still more civilised than most places. A good value, clean and comfortable hotel.
