Returning for my second stay, I only wish I had chosen this hotel for all my previous trips. The boutique atmosphere, the attentive staff, the restaurant, and that signature ground-floor scent are all wonderful. Regarding room selection, I would actually advise against the most expensive loft in favor of the second-best flat. During my first visit, the loft felt cramped and simply didn't justify the premium price. In contrast, the flat is a significantly better experience; my floor featured a much larger shower area that avoided the inconvenience of standing in a bathtub. Truthfully, it was the quality of the breakfast that originally convinced me to give the hotel a second chance. However, housekeeping consistency remains an issue, as I experienced similar lapses during both stays despite them being a year apart. Small details were often overlooked, such as failing to refill empty napkin boxes or neglecting to provide fresh bottled still water. I also found that I consistently had to request extra laundry bags after my initial service. Furthermore, when I requested memory foam pillows at the start of my week-long stay, I was told they were unavailable due to high demand, yet no one followed up to see if any had become free in the following days. Communication could also be improved, as the operating hours for the housekeeping phone line were never made clear. While every staff member I encountered was polite and professional, these service gaps were notable downsides to my stay.

Well located hotel. Close to the train station which is a big plus given how the airport is easily accessible from the train station as well as the nearby towns along the lake. The lovely Rhone is just behind the hotel. The Cathedrale Saint-Pierre Geneva is also within walking distance as are a fair bit of the tourist attractions. The United Nations Office and the Broken Chair sculpture is a short bus ride away - and thank you for the complimentary transport card. It made travelling on Geneva’s public transport, including the train ride to and from the airport so very convenient. The hotel itself is lovely and thank you for the room upgrade. The room was spacious and the amenities were more than adequate. Bed was comfortable and a good night’s sleep was easy to achieved. Nice breakfast spread and it was great that you are given a choice of you want eggs to be done. Great check out experience. Good spread of restaurants and eating places - not only in terms of choice but also price levels. Worth a return anytime in Geneva.

Unfortunately, both my mom and I did not enjoy the accommodations here. Between the daily construction, the thin walls where we can hear people running and walking above us, I hated this hotel. With the poor, dingy, decor, under no circumstance should this be considered a five star hotel. Besides the cheap decor, the loud noise, the lack of peacefulness - the food was terrible. We had breakfast included within our stay and the chef couldn’t make simple eggs. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter how convenient located.
