A very disappointing experience! The hotel did not meet expectations at all. The room felt like a pile of dust, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, making the stay unpleasant and far from relaxing. The price is overpriced and does not reflect the quality of service or cleanliness. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.

Horrible noise in the room from refurbishment

I love this hotel and always stay here when I come to Geneva. I booked a signature room because these are usually the quietest and are in a separate part of the hotel. But I was given room 319 in the main part. There was loud drilling noise every day from 8.30. No warning of this at the time of booking. Impossible to stay in the room and work during the day.

Very good location and, even if not everything is well maintained, I liked the boutique style interior. The welcome was nothing special (Ibis level), the room is quite small but has everything you need. Unfortunately no upgrade was given, which would be nice as a platinum guest (and there were rooms available in other categories). At least you could have give me a room of the same categorie, but on the other side of the hotel. That would have made my sleep better if I would not have been waken up at 07.30am by really really loud construction works. The service at the bar was really unmotivated, disappeared sometimes for 10-15 minutes... Probably because they also have to serve in the restaurant. That would be acceptable for Ibis, but not for Mgallery. The breakfast was outstanding and the personell there was really friendly and polite.

While we try and upgrade all our members entitled to it, on some occasion our occupancy, such as during your stay, doesn't allow us to upgrade the rooms.
