Central, Clean, Welcoming

Sansunseeker TripAdvisor review

We only stayed for 1 night (me, hubby and 14 yr old daughter) but it was a wonderful stay, the staff were very welcoming when we arrived and we were able to check in by 1pm. The room was spacious enough considering we had two double beds and the shower was great, plenty of hot water and clean. Most importantly it was very central to all the main attractions of Geneva, shops and bars. The hotel sent us a city pass prior to arrival by email (we booked via booking.com) which allowed us free passage on the yellow boats from one end of the lake to the other. Catch the m1 or m2 boats to get to the flower clock and Jet D’eau. These boats arrive every few minutes and are a great way to travel across the lake and with the pass they are free! The pass also allows you to get from the airport train into Geneva centre within minutes. I would certainly stay here again as it was everything we required, they even held onto luggage for us for two days whilst we headed to Annecy for a couple of days. (From Geneva we had booked a blabla bus to Annecy in France 🇫🇷 checkout my review of the stay there)

Superb location Staff were amazing & so facilitating. We are especially grateful to Alia for his help. Adele, Panda & Sam were so lovely & facilitating with any of our request. Breakfast was amazing & what a varierty! The location is in very close proximity to the city centre but we were a bit unnerved by the surrounding streets. We will recommend it & hope to come back again v soon.

The hotel and the room was not as expected.

Another great stash at your hotel. The staff are all great but want to particularly highlight a few folks. Sam (I think that’s his name…young guy with a moustache) who worked breakfast, always very pleasant and welcoming. Also Alia (again, apologies if I got his name wrong) who I think is part of your reception cleaning and maintenance team - again, always helpful and smiling. Your room cleaning staff were excellent, our room always immaculate but they never “interrupted” our day and we were in and out of the room at different time each day. Well done all round.

Smelly drains and noisy street

The bathroom drains were very smelly but the most frustrating thing was the street noise. None of my party slept well throughout our stay due to it.
