Disappointing stay,

I have stayed here a few times before, good location and rooms spacious and clean. However, on this trip I stayed 4 nights, my keys twice had to be reset on my stay, I'd be coming back from dinner get to the lift to find out my key as yet again been locked out. I had to call to get nespresso capsules, was told I can only have 4 pods per stay and after that it would be additional 10CHF for another 4 pods. After I patiently explained I was there with my husband over 4 nights, there wasnt enough pods for each day, then the penny must of dropped and she said oh OK we will provide you with more. Why did I have to ask in the first place. The housekeeping was very slow , wasn't getting done till mid afternoon and then on the last day wasn't even done at all. The standards have dropped considerably which is a shame, I used to enjoy staying here. Won't be returning in a hurry.

It was a pleasant experience to chose Novotel hotel, however, the location was near to almost all I need , transportation, land marks, shopping, Lake , in addition , the breakfast was grate and the hosts whom handle brake fasts services was so professional specially the lady that speaks four or more languages , finally, I like this hotel and I highly recommend it and I’m definitely I will repeat the booking in this hotel.

Unfortunately this was not a pleasant stay. The staff were not friendly. Every time we called for room service they kept redirecting us to reception although simple requests like dental ket, water, spoon etc should be managed by room service. We simply asked for a plastic spoon or metal spoon just to be used and returned the room service employee said that “ if i bring it to the room you have to pay 5 frank as a service charge” which is extremely unacceptable for a hotel with your reputation. We had to go to the bar and get the spoon ourselves. Most hotels usually provide free parking slots for their guests and we were shocked to be asked to park for two nights with a charge of 70 Frank.

Everything very good, only problem hearing loud snoring from another room!
