A pleasant room at the back of the hotel. Sheets and towels changed daily, except at weekend. Kitchette could have done with a sharp knife, for bread, otherwise it was adequate.

Was disappointed with express breakfast compared to the breakfast other guests were given just because of room number.This was discrimination.However the staff were brilliant in helping on our adventure itinerary.

The room is extremely basic, like a student dorm room. It was too hot to sleep with window closed but loud noises and smoke drifting into room (I was on 5th floor) made it intolerable to keep window open. Room was clean, thankfully. The entrance was poorly kept up and often had garbage blocking the main door.

It is located very close to the main train station, so really easy to access. Check-in is done at Novotel: the personnel was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. Room is convenient and equipped with small kitchen: perfect to make a tea/coffee or store products in the fridge. Overall, generally good experience. We also received a Geneva Ticket which allowed us to travel on public transport free of charge. Some good places to eat nearby. However, the street where the hotel is located tends to be very noisy during evenings and nights, especially at weekends. It was difficult to keep our window open during nights and not to experience the noise of nearby pubs.
