The room did not have a cooktop (this is the first time I have experienced this when booking an apartment with a kitchenette). We also really missed having a corkscrew for a wine bottle. In addition, we had problems with cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom ventilation. It smelled of both hashish and regular cigarettes. In the morning it was not possible to use the bathroom because of the smell. We kept the window open all the time (it was winter outside)

The room was great, kitchen was very useful, it has a fast check-out option which you throw your room card in the box and leave. If you need to leave early you don't need to worry about losing time. It's close to the transportation. Only problem is it's in the red light district, so it might not be the best for families or solo female travelers.

We liked this place very much. It's small but had everything we needed for a short stay. Short wolking distance from the train station and from the main tourist attractions. Good WiFi. Option to store the bags before check in.

This was my second time to stay at Résidence Studio Genève Centre. I have always enjoyed the stay. The staff members are very friendly, respectful, helpful and nice. The room is always kept clean. The room is always cleaned well. The TV has CNN, BBC, France 24, Euro News and Aljazeera etc which means I can't means.

The first day we arrived the lady at the front desk was impatient and not very nice to me. We had travelled for hours and had even struggled to find the location, but she seemed agitated and unprofessional but l ignored her and we checked in and settled in. When we requested for more blankets we still sensed agitation from reception. Once again we ignored this. Our assumption was that it had been a long day for the staff. Yet, let ones mood not dictate their manners. However, the date we checked out the lady and gentleman that was at the front desk/ reception were very kind and even helped us with our luggage. A complete opposite from the day we checked in. Housekeeping was superb. Professional and polite staff. We had clean rooms everytime we returned. We looked forward to returning to our rooms after a long day. Reminded us that humanity still exist. The staff at at the restaurant were very professional and kind. Even when l was ill, the lady at the entrance provided me with lemons to ease my stomach.
