Check in was good apartment was clean and comfortable only downside was the noise of people shouting in the street in the early hours

super noise at the night, as the room was next to the street, and the windows for sure is not so good at noise isolation. and the pillows were not comfortable, a bit too hard for me, no other option.

For future visits, we would like to mention that we offer quieter studios located on higher floors or facing the backside, away from the street. Earplugs are also available at the nearby Novotel's reception for our guests' convenience. While the location of Resident Studio Geneva Center is convenient, being centrally located near the main train station, my stay left much to be desired. The surrounding area felt unsafe, not due to legal activities like prostitution, which I understand is regulated in Switzerland, but because I witnessed frequent domestic or physical altercations in the street from my window. It created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere, making it genuinely feel unsafe to walk around the area. I had just visited Pullman Hotel in Zagreb, part of the same Accor Hotels group, where I had breakfast right before my flight to Geneva. The difference between the two properties was staggering. Not only did it not feel like they belonged to the same hotel chain, it seemed like they were on two different planets. The room at Resident Studio was very basic, with outdated furniture and decor that seemed stuck in the 80s. It was clear the place hadn’t seen a significant investment or renovation in years. The insulation was poor, and noise levels were extremely high, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Though the Wi-Fi worked well and the place was relatively clean, the room’s small and claustrophobic elevator felt outdated and impractical, especially for those with large luggage. Despite its central location, the accommodation wasn’t easily accessible for travelers carrying heavy bags, which was disappointing. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, with pleasant staff, but for the high price—reflective of Geneva’s cost of living—the overall experience fell well below expectations. Additionally, although the invoice listed it as “bed and breakfast,” no breakfast was provided. While Geneva is expensive and finding decent accommodation can be tough, this stay offered little value for the money.

We offer studios with double-glazing windows and provide earplugs at the Novotel Genève Centre reception to ensure a restful night. Regarding the impression of the studio's decor, we take this feedback seriously as we continuously aim to provide accommodations that are pleasant and up-to-date. In 2020, we completed renovations of the bathrooms and corridors, and by early 2023, all studio doors were replaced. Moreover, we apologize for any oversight regarding the provision of your breakfast which should have been included as per your booking details. Finally, we are pleased that the central location of our residence, in close proximity to Lake Geneva and public transport, was a highlight of your stay. It is ideally situated for guests to explore the city and enjoy the nearby attractions. We certainly hope that we will have the chance to see you all again on a future occasion.
