The accommodation is centrally located at walking distance from the railway station (Cornavin), with good access to public transport and close to the lake for morning runs or walks. Once you know the system, check in and out are extremely easy (the first time I came, it took me 5 minutes to understand how to locate Novatel where the registration desk is located). The accommodation has four sections - entrance, a bedroom combined with workroom (a desk), a kitchenette, also a bathroom space (a very clean shower and toilet). One aspect to be aware of it that the number of sockets might be less for people with multiple devices. also, I always have to remember to bring my own coffee and tea - a kettle is available but no coffee machine.

Good locations near main train station

Clean rooms and polite staff. Sheets don’t need to be changed EVERY day. But no sound-proofing! You could hear voices but not the actual words but every loo flush and shower were very evident. I was on the “quiet side” with a view of the “courtyard”. The WHAT! Abandoned roof full of rubbish - disgusting. Someone had smoked in my room or just outside - there was an ashtray outside in evidence. My friends were on the “noisy” side and had a very miserable time. It was too hot in the room but then they couldn’t sleep because of the noise from outside. So I suggest that you invest! Proper sound-proofing, a very good clean of the outside and maybe a means to stop the doors making such a noise when they close.

Ugly and substandard room, incredibly noisy, card not working multiple times, …
