ibis Geneve Centre Nations Hotel 3 stars

This time was my second stay at your hotel and everything is very good but a little bit expensive.

Excellent service and the breakfast was great. The rooms were adequate. The frustrating thing - and it is important for someone doing business over long hours, was the absence of tea and coffee in the rooms. If it was available in the hotel I was not informed about it.

Pleasant stay, comfortable bed, decent shower, clean room, lots of power outlets. Appreciated that the front desk told me and my colleagues about a special deal. Check-in took a long time but perhaps we were also tired from our journey. I would have liked a small safe in the room. When I lost my room card and requested a new one, I was a bit shocked that she handed it over without even checking if I was the correct person. It made me think that anyone could walk in, say they lost their room card, and be allowed access.

I've stayed at a few Ibis hotels now and this seems typical. It's clean, modern, fresh but basic. The room size is fairly small but large enough for two adults to be comfortable. After all you generally only sleep there. The bathroom is a reasonable size with a good size shower. A nice bonus with this hotel was the fact there were Swiss and European plug sockets. The staff here were friendly and helpful. The bar and breakfast areas are also modern and clean. However, the breakfast is quite limited. It's only a continental breakfast, but even baring that in mind I felt the choice wasn't great. The hotel was very quiet, especially considering it's a city centre hotel. I barely heard any other guests and there was little if any road noise. So all in all, it's a nice hotel with great staff. I had a pleasant stay and would stay here again.

the stay was OK. I have paid extra fee for an early checking. So I arrived and occupied around 9:00 am but I was not allowed to have a breakfast. the receptionist told me that the breakfast will start to count the next day. So I was obliged to go out for food after a long trip. For there is no point to pay an extra fee for an early checking if the breakfast is not included

As above. In addition, they are always ready to help, if you need some Info , Advice and the like.

Service at the bar was terrible - I bought a cup of tea, bottle of fruit juice and a bottle of water. I was ignored initially then I got the cup of water then further ignored until I got a tea bag and ignored yet more until I was able to pay. I was tempted to just walk away, it seemed the staff were so uninterested. The tea was cold by the time I drank it. Other than that, the rest of the start was ok. Nothing more. Bed was ok, comfort in the room was ok. Bathroom was ok. No iron in the room was a limitation though. Breakfast was good.

As always, our stay was perfect! Quiet, pretty and well-appointed room, overlooking a small garden although located on the Grand Pré side of the building. We particularly appreciated the very comfortable and large bed, attentive service and pleasant staff. What more could we expect? Thank you! Rachel

I would like to thank your reception desk staff. My booking was made complicated by the fact that some nights were pertly funded by me and some by my client. I was impressed at how the lady at the reception desk dealt with this so that my stay was processed without a hitch. Thank you.

Well located and excellent attention from the hotel staff

But I did not like the fact that I had to re-negociate the discounts for my next 3 reservations, being a Member of Ac, I found it was too expensive, because, I expected that the best prices should have been offered to me in the first place. Otherwise, there is no point of being a Member. After the discussions, they adjusted the prices and I was more or less contented.!!

fast and easygoing staff, good breakfast, practical and clean rooms

I was I Geneva for a conference. The hotel was a short walk from the conference centre with easy access to shops and restaurants. The no. 5 bus stop is a short walk away, making it easy to get to the airport.
