The room was adequate, but the staff were abrupt bordering on rude — which was interesting, given how I needed to then follow up to complete payment after checking out. Nobody at the desk, either at check-in or at check-out, thought to confirm the payment method or ask for a credit card?

Great location, only 10 minutes walking distance from Gare Cornavin, Geneva main train station. The staff members were very polite, efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and spotlesslessly clean. There is AC and a Smart TV which is a great plus. The price was reasonable and surprisingly affordable for Geneva/Switzerland. I also really liked the fact that they use wooden room key cards. I would recommend this place and stay again.

The staff were friendly however, it was a bit slow to get things that we had requested, and had to keep reminding. Our aircon didn’t work and the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. The bathroom facilities were good and the location was to far from town.

After I checked out I remembered I’d left my phone charger and cables in the room so the receptionist gave me a key the room had been cleaned but no one else had checked in so the cleaners removed my items and the hotel are saying they can’t find them

I have been staying on Ibis Centre Nation since 2018, and it's still my first choice to stay in Geneve. Although the experience has always been globally satisfactory there's room for improvement. The breakfast area sometimes gets very crowded, the sitting area could be better with a new layout has it appears to be the same since 2018. Also when the room is full it's a bit hard to get out of your place if you're not sitting on the chairs and some food options are not available everyday. Sending the pass for public transportation in advance if requested via email would also be nice. The room is nice, clean and the temperature is also good, the water pressure and temperature was also good, but the shower gel dispenser it's not very easy to use, and the fragrance used could be more neutral. Overall a good experience.

I filled out all the pre-check-in papers and expected to “walk-in and be given the room key“ as promised.When I arrived at 1 pm, I was told there would be no check-in before 3 pm. Many other people were waiting and if rooms were already cleaned at that time they were not made available.The desk clerks were not well trained: they did not smile or hold one’s gaze, did not show interest in one’s concerns, and mostly seemed preoccupied and kept to themselves . Once I got to the room, it was fine, clean and quiet, and I had a pleasant evening. One of the evening clerks was responsive (smiled) and immediately arranged for a very early taxi for me which I needed to get to the airport. I think you have a good hotel with significant management problems. I could not recommend it at this point
