Comfortable room and delicious breakfast; helpful staff

It was an extremely convenient stay, thanks to the hotel personnel, who were extremely helpful in all our needs. They helped us to arrange a very nice room, as my 72-years old mother was usually in the room. Many thanks to all of them for their great hospitality and kindness.

Always very satisfied to stay at Ibis in front of Balexert. Good service and very clean rooms - and excellent location.

This was quite a nice hotel - not too expensive, but certainly the quality was good. There were certainly some nice features - a large screen TV in the room, comfortable double bed, en suite shower and toilet etc, so it was very good value for money. My room was not at all noisy. It is right next to the large Balaxert shopping mall and cinema complex, and close to the tram so would be a good base to explore Geneva - only 5 stops on the tram from central station, so would take only about 10 minutes on the tram, if that. One really excellent surprise was that they gave me a free travel pass for buses and trams in Geneva for my stay, which was really excellent ! There was no queue to check in or check out, despite them being quite busy. I had stayed at this hotel before, back in the old days before it was an Ibis hotel, and it was not as nice then, so they have certainly improved things very much since then.

Everything worked out very well.

This was a nice place but my main reservation was that the toilet smelled of urine and I had to keep the door open or the smell would build up. Thorough cleaning and disinfectant recommended. Access to a kettle to make tea or coffee would be welcome.

Although the stay was as expected. Small/tiny details would have made bigger difference.. Although I DO appreciate the "green approach" to hotel amenities, it was however surprising to see, that while the towels would only be changed when requested to save Earth, however the individually wrapped soap in the bathroom was changed each and every day, even if only used once. I would take this as contradicting the green effect, however there might be a sound reasoning behind this. When checking out and requesting an invoice, I have agreed with staff as it would be e-mailed, once I have supplied e-mail addres, so I have done so. However the invoice is "Still on the way somewhere", I have received this survey notice twice already ( on the supplied e-mail address ).
