We arrived about 20:00 after a long train journey; the hotel reception was welcoming and suggested a good bistro for dinner. After a good night's sleep, and a very good breakfast, we were off on our travels again. The hotel reception was very helpful.

Lacking basic amenities

I’ve stayed at various Accor hotels around the world and I have to say I was quite disappointed by this particular hotel. The room lacked basic amenities such as an iron or tea kettle (I had to request the latter) and tea and coffee bags. Paper cups were provided which leaked. I was not permitted to have a proper ceramic mug from the lobby.

Good location for an overnight stay

This is near the railway station, so good transport links and lots of places to eat. We were driving so parked in their recommended car park, (10 minute walk away) which we received a discount for ( hotel staff gave us a ticket to use in the machine) The room was comfortable but quite small, considering it wasn't an Ibis Budget. Friendliness from reception staff varied.
