Apart from no heating in the bedroom and no wifi the hotel provided a decent breakfast and was centrally located.

Decor a bit dated, but clean and tidy, and I liked having a bath. My stay was spoilt by fact that wifi was not working. I went down the road to Mercure and had dinner there - their wifi worked without problem.

I use the Ibis Style network quite a bit. Maybe 20 nights per year. This one falls below the usual standard. Noisy. Poor ventilation. No parking. No bar. And grubby bedding. I was surprised.

The hotel is well situated almost next to the station. It is perfectly functional, however there was no WiFi when we were there and no provision for any alternative or any compensation. The breakfast was a good choice and plenty on offer

Scared that I was locked out

The hotel and breakfast were fine but I attended an event and returned to the hotel at 1:30. The door was locked. No one answered the phone. Thankfully a friend was nearby and came to my rescue. It was scary. I called and called. I also buzzed the buzzer. Nothing! Finally someone answered. He said that he couldn’t hear the phone because he was setting up breakfast. He should be able to hear the phone. I thought I was left outside in the middle of the night. Please find a solution (a portable phone??) so that this doesn’t happen to someone else. Too bad as everything else was fine.
