Stayed in Chambery en route to Italian Alps snowboarding. Easy to find. Quick check in. Quiet with very good Restaurant next door. Everything I expected.

The new room, 2 bed instead of two but more expensive. new decoration but still strong smell of cold tobacco. No towel supposedly to save the environment, but overheating room that need to be cooled by opening the window. Two toilets without paper... Pathetic!

Almost everything was perfect, for the price. The staff was very nice and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the sound insulation: unfortunately, you hear everything that happens in the premises. People going to the bathroom at 3am, people talking, people going up or down the stairs. We booked the hotel f1 chambery as a short overnight stop on our way into the mountains. We arrived around midnight and had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to come to reception. We eventually got booked in before Heading to our room. The room was as expected in size and look and appeared visually clean, however there was a smell of stale smoke in the room and on the bedding. The door didn’t shut completely so there was a large streak of light that came into the room all night. The biggest issue of all was the noise. The sounds from outside in the corridor were unrelenting, it feels as though you don’t have a door at all. As such it took until gone 3am to fall asleep. Despite being a fair few doors down from the showers, I was awoken to the loud sound of water at 4am which genuinely sounded as though someone was firing a hose under our door. Even a half hearted attempt at soundproofing would have improved this experience. I was fully aware I had signed up to stay in a budget hotel and we were only there for around 7 hours in total, however I had planned to at least get a fair amount of sleep in that time. I won’t be returning.

Good, though did have to ask to change room on arrival as there was a very strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room originally offered. Dealt with without difficulty.

Arrived late in the evening. Found the hotel easily. Reception was available 24h and efficient and polite. Checked in with ease and the room was sufficient for our needs. We left early in the morning but didn't have breakfast. Others were in the foyer enjoying theirs as we passed by. All was as expected and at a very good price.

expensive, very old room, lock was not working, bedlinen were stained, and no towel unless supplement. the price of F1 was the main positive point, now this is not the case anymore, price went up and quality went down. Never again

Easy to find the hotel, kind staff, reception opened 24h, good warm shower, comfortable bed, quiet (not a lot of guests), good wifi signal, sink in the room. Toilets a bit dirty, cigarrette smoke smell (even at the no smokers wing), hot room but we opened the window and it refreshed it a bit, it seemed like someone threw up at night just outside the main door and we saw it in the morning when leaving (a bit disgusting...).

Me and my partner were looking for a nice hotel in the edges of the highway. We found the F1 online and being familiar with accord hotels we decided to stay there. To our suprise the hotel didn’t look at all like the pictures it was filthy and the worst part as soon as I touched the bed I started to get red spots all over my body then went to the reception and found no one there.

I forgot the time difference after traveling to France and so was late for breakfast. When I asked the staff on reception happily re opened just for me. Good staff make all the difference.

Comfortable bed and a reasonable breakfast for the price. However the room is designed so that it’s impossible to use anything electrical thereby saving on electricity - there is one socket available beside the sink that is so tightly placed in the corner it was not possible to insert the moulded plug of my CPAP breathing machine. The advertising for the hotel should state this as it is a health risk for people with sleep apnoea not to use their CPAP breathing machine.
