Great stop to break up a long drive

We stayed here one night to break up a long drive between Paris and the Alps. The staff was charming and set aside some food for us as we arrived a bit after Room Service was closing. Comfy beds, clean rooms. The hotel is comfortable and well- located although the car park is not easy to access in with a large-ish car, and the nightlife around the train station can be a tad intimidating.

The price is actually the same as every secured parking in Chambery.The car park has been build before the hotel, that’s why it’s so tight, old and difficult to manage for current cars. For your next stay be informe that we have 4 public car parks less than 250m from the hotel do not hesitate to call us before your arrival we would be happy to guide you. Fine location in the french alps just a step from the train station and citycenter

Nice room, good service and friendly staff. If you see the building you notice it is somewhat older, but everything is nicely modern and cozy decorated and up to standard. Got a Privilege room with a filled minibar and nespresso. Would be staying here again if I will be around!

I always greatly enjoy my stay at Mercure hotel at Chambéry. The staff is amazing (whether it is the receptionists or the room cleaners). The rooms are really nice and well kept. The hotel is well located next to all commodities such as having the train station in front, many restaurants and supermarkets as well. I recommend this hotel a 100%.
