Moramare Couples - TripAdvisor review

Even though we did have a good stay this IBIS Styles is not worth 4 stars. This as the rooms have a bare minimum of amenities (no coffee machine or kettle, no fridge, no decent blowdryer), the breakfast buffet is too limited and the entire look and feel of the hotel too faded. Staff however is friendly, room is clean, bed is huge, dogs are very welcome.

Overall an enjoyable stay, much because of our dinner taken at the Mercure just nearby. Bedroom/bathroom spacious and a comfortable bed. Having booked for a terrace, we mistakenly thought that it would be a terrace overlooking the lake but it wasn't - simply overlooked a pool. Breakfast quite acceptable but a pity that outside areas viewed from the breakfast room looked run down - like nobody was paying any attention to that aspect. Plant pots full of dead plants - same goes for the plant pots outside the arrival area. Well staffed and friendly reception staff, unlike our previous evening's stay at Mercure Besancon where there was only 1 member of staff trying to do reception and the bar .

It’s an international hotel, so I thought breakfast would be international, not purely french. I did not bother with breakfast on the second day.
