It was my first time visiting Rio and I've stayed at Accor hotels before but this property was a huge let down for me. Guy receptionist kindly checked my partner and i in early but he did not inform any big maintenance work in the room next door so we had to pack again and move room. The guy who moved us to a room was very nice but the room itself was disgusting. There was someone's nail on the couch, shower head had mould and falling apart and the overall cleanliness of the room was 0 out of 10. We had to unfortunately stay here for 2 days. Also, having to buy a dental kit at an Accor branded hotel was very odd. No basic amenities were provided and the staff told me to go to the next building (ibis) to get a dental kit and the staff there was rude and did not understand what I asked for. Overall it was a disappointing stay and I would not go back.

Understaffed, no one answering the phone at the front desk. Shampoo and conditioner wet not refilling when checked in. Noise was loud. Actual and website photos do not match.

The design of the room is weird. Hard to figure out light switches, strange toilet location behind a glass door, light switches are sloppy engineering. Food is great, friendly staff.
