We were disappointed with our stay at your hotel. The biggest issue was the way your receptionist handled our final bill. On our last morning, without my knowledge or permission, he repeatedly attempted to charge my card for the city tax. Our daughter is exempt from this tax, and we had already completed the required exemption form. Instead of correcting the mistake properly, several payment attempts were made, followed by multiple reversals. As a result, my euro account was completely blocked, I received numerous bank alerts about failed transactions, and we were forced to pay €60 in cash while waiting for the blocked funds to be released. I find it completely unacceptable that my card was used multiple times without my consent. Blaming the hotel system is not a sufficient explanation. Whatever the system required, the situation should have been discussed with me before any further transactions were made. This was highly unprofessional and left a very negative impression of your hotel. There were also maintenance issues. The broken toilet seat that I reported immediately after our arrival was never repaired during our four-night stay. On our last day, the air conditioning also started leaking, creating a large puddle of water in front of our room. This experience was particularly disappointing because we usually enjoy staying at Ibis hotels and have always trusted your brand. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the standard we expected.

I booked my room via the All accor webApp. I had of course a confirmation number as usual via e-mail. 45' before arriving by car to the hotel, they called me stating that the hotel is full and there's no room for me. Therefore there's no need to come and should look for a solution where to sleep that night. Of course I remained calm, and stated that it's not my problem where to sleep that night and rather the hotel's problem that they should solve. The guy over the phone insisted and said that the booking system somehow forced the reservation while the hotel is fully booked ! Which is a lie of course. About half an hour after, I get to the reception : Hello, hello. Here's your room, breakfast starts at 7:00, have a good stay.. So, I'm not sure what happened there, I get my room, but the call 45' before was stressful and if I was not aware about my rights, I would have gone elsewhere ! So, Bad experience in that regard.
