The location was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful specially when i had problems with the AC, the window and the pillows provided. Restaurant is good, breakfast is nice and has good selection. As mentioned the provided pillows are too flat and not providing any support when sleeping. The are more like sofa cushions, but i got a better (old style fluffy one that elevates the head) after asking. Room would need some makeover specially for the AC - which could only provide hot air and the windows system. Nothing serious, but something to do in the middle future.

I am generally more familiar with Novotel than Mercure but I would say that the offer and price are about the same. Hotel located in the outskirts of Milano which was exactly what we were looking for. Parking under the hotel for an extra charge (I saw some cars parked infront of the hotel but no idea if they were free of charge or payable). Check-in went smoothly and we got a room on the 5th floor. Room/suite was very spacious with a seperate space for the children to sleep (very convenient). Bathroom felt small comparing to the spacious room but clean and modern. The only negative point was the bad cloak smell. We did not complain to the reception because we came in late and only stayed overnight but if we were to have stayed longer, we would have requested something to be done. Breakfast buffé was nothing out of the common but special mention to the fresh orange juice and nice staff. Overall a pleasant stay and definitely a hotel if you traveling with children and looking for a suite with seperate areafor the children to sleep.

There was mold in the bathroom, poor cleaning. The breakfast was below average, the eggs were from powder and really low quality. One type of chese/salami, that’s something you would expect.
