I tried the Accor based on my past experiences but this facility was not uptown that standard Beds were of cheap quality and gave me a back pain in one night

Oversold the twin rooms

You oversold the twin room I booked so I was expected to share a double bed with my mother. Instead I slept on the floor. Staff's only suggesting was to offer me an extra blanket.

We are really sorry for the inconvenient faced on your last stay, unfortunately it was caused by an unpredictable maintenance need on some of the rooms of the hotel. Being aware that we couldn't grant the type of room reserved because of this problem, we have provided a partial refund as per our e-mail communication sent on the departure date. Booked this hotel for an overnight stay to break up a long trip. Unfortunately I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant is closed at weekends. No alternative suggestions were put forth and so I snacked in my room. Facilities were as expected: shower, toiletries, breakfast etc were all perfectly adequate and acceptable.

We are glad to see that you have appreciated the services provided and the hotel amenities, though we are sorry that you could not try our restaurant service as it is not available during weekends. The restaurant is, in fact, opened monday to friday but we still have a snack menu available at our bar opened 24/7. This was probably the nicest Ibis room I've stayed in - decent size, a Nespresso machine, slippers and dressing gowns provided. Free parking, very helpful staff, all round excellent.
