We arrived very late at night and were greeted with serious, unsympathetic, and unhelpful staff. The rooms we were given were ok, but the quality of the bedding, the decoration, and the cleanness was not at all in Ibis Styles level of what we had experienced in other places like in France and Germany. We did not park in the parking a bit further than the hotel, rather on the street about 20 meters from the hotel. In fairness, the serious gentleman at the hotel did clearly suggest we park in the garage. I took the risk and regretted it, because our car window was smashed. Fortunately nothing was stolen because we had taken everything inside. But unsafe neighbourhood in general and the hotel is alright for one night, but not anything more.

Our first time in Milan! This Ibis is located just off the main road near Lima metro. Great location near lots of shops and restaurants. 14min walk to Central train station. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and came with an air conditioner unit ( slightly noisy but it was 36C outside, so probably working overtime). We didn't have breakfast but lots of quick options near by.

I chose ibis Styles Milano Centro expecting the quiet professionalism one associates with an international hotel group. Unfortunately, my experience was defined less by the room itself and more by the way a perfectly ordinary guest request and subsequent feedback were handled by management. I understand that room upgrades, balconies, higher floors and late check-out are subject to availability. A hotel is perfectly entitled to say no. That was never the real issue. The issue was how that “no” was communicated. During check-out, when I asked about late check-out, I received a dismissive “So what?” When I subsequently expressed my disappointment, the correspondence from the Room Division Manager, Mr. Andrea Parrottino, became increasingly personal rather than simply addressing the service issue. I was described as “Typical,” my reviews were characterised as a “retaliation machine,” and the hotel referred to itself as having become a “victim” of my reviews. My Accor satisfaction history was also brought into the discussion. The correspondence even concluded with a religious quotation and, ultimately, “Have a good life.” For a guest who has simply expressed dissatisfaction, this is a remarkable way for hotel management to conduct a conversation. After my experience, I also took the time to read previous reviews. I noticed that concerns regarding the attitude and handling of guests by management are not entirely isolated. I cannot speak for other guests or verify their individual experiences, but the similarity was notable. There is something rather simple about good hospitality: a guest does not have to be right for them to be treated with courtesy. I have stayed in many hotels and have no difficulty accepting that not every request can be fulfilled. What I do expect is discretion, professionalism and composure when those requests cannot be accommodated. Unfortunately, those qualities were missing from my experience here. I have retained the correspondence and have raised the matter with Accor for independent review. I will not be returning to this property. Sometimes the most revealing part of a hotel stay is not the room, but how the guest is treated when the answer is no.

The front desk showed attitude and lacked patience in hearing our concerns with the room. The room had condensation overnight with water leakage on the floor, AC was not responsive. The staff was very rude and unfriendly to the guests.

I’ll be honest, even giving this place a single star feels generous. Avoid this hotel if you value your privacy, safety, or decent customer care. We were put in a room with a balcony we hadn't even asked for. While marketed as "private," it was actually accessible to any guest or staff member on the property. We felt we had to keep the blinds shut tight for the entire duration of our trip. To make matters worse, the front desk response was awful. When we brought this up, the receptionist was openly hostile, condescending, and completely unhelpful. Instead of addressing a legitimate concern, he just made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. We are the customers after all. At £250 for a two-night stay, this was a massive waste of money. Poor service, zero privacy, and a total lack of security. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Our very short stay for business was incredibly good. The hotel is fully renovated with modern and classy taste. The staff is very helpful and kind. The hotel is located at a very good spot, close to the metro and the big road with shops. The hotel itself though looks and feels old and not really cared for, I speak from comparing my experience to Ibis Styles in Seville, Spain which I have also stayed at the previous year, which was significantly better and was why I made the choice of choosing the same hotel franchise for Milan. The difference in quality for the same "3 stars" and same franchise name is wildly different, which is disappointing, it makes it hard to trust the Ibis Styles name and what to expect from it on other countries I visit. Regarding the room specifically, the fridge makes a ton of noise which is disturbing for sleep, the light in the bathroom turns off on its own while you are still in there, the walls are paper thin and crying babies and people making noise also made it hard to sleep. One of the receptionists we were treated with was excellent and very helpful.

The hotel provided the room of lower level, than was booked and instead of support we have got huge scandal from general manager. We were blamed in non respectful behavior. We came to celebrate our friend birthday in Milano and have hit such a “present” from this man. I would never come back and would never recommend this hotel because of one person. And at the end we asked to book a taxi. When we came to the airport the driver said higher price, than was written on Hotel voucher
