The hotel is descent for a one night stay. For longer than that the beds are not comfortable very hard, it is near an arena so for the whole weekend until late hours there was loud music. I was put in a handicap room that was not fully clean there was dirt on the light switches and around the kitchenette sink. Also there was no counter space in the bathroom nor a rack to hang your towels. I was not going to hang it on the bar next to the toliet. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff seemed friendly despite not speaking English which I understood.

I was charged $4635 reias for a 4 night stay between hotels.com and the hotel itself! I renewed reservation each day via hotels.com but when I’d go downstairs to get key recharged the front desk kept saying they couldn’t find reservation. Almost impossible to get in touch with hotels.com. Other than that my stay was pleasant

I was notified that the building was under construction only at the end of my stay and was surprised. The manager had our room switched to a higher floor as to not disturb us and the stay was flawless. Kudos to the team! The bed was a little uncomfortable as it is a sofa bed and not a full bed. But overall great experience. The location was a plus which was walking distance to a concert we attended.

The Mercure Barra funda is very well located, right next to Allianz Park. If you are visiting Sao Paulo for a show, this is the place to be. The accomodations and amenities are great. But I think what sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are the friendliest staff of any hotel I've even been to, and I have been to many! From the desk to the bar and everywhere in between, the made me and my friends feel at home.

The staff at the reception was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, the room conditions were far from satisfactory. The bed sheets were torn/burned, the air conditioning did not work properly, and there was not a single bottle of water provided. Although there was a coffee maker, no complimentary coffee was available. There was no iron in the room, one of the liquid soaps (body wash) was not working, and when I asked the housekeeper for assistance, she mentioned that they use the same body wash as shampoo. In other words, they basically use the same product for both body wash and shampoo.
