I really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis on Av Paulista in Sao Paulo. The location is fantastic, right on Av Paulista and at the intersection of the green and yellow Metro lines. The front desk staffers were friendly and helpful, and it was a bonus that many of them spoke English. The hotel room was quiet, which was important for being on such a busy street. The shower had plenty of hot water and I also appreciated the small refrigerator in my room as not all Ibis hotels provide them. The TV in my room was great and I enjoyed watching the Corinthians match and local Brazilian TV news. My room was clean. The only frustrating part of my stay was the internet. It was awful. My audio streams were constantly buffering and it was almost impossible to watch videos. Very rarely was the internet every stable enough to watch videos. This is definitely an area the hotel needs to improve.

Hotel personal do not speak english which is ok, but management of those hotel is very bad, there was some issue with aircon and wayer leakage in lobby what could happen but no coordination no information, they asked mw to go to some back office and just to pay and instead of card/key they gave some piece of teared paper with my room number but no info etc., completely mismanagement.

I was traveling with a group of 4, 3 o them had problems with the check-in. Be it the language barrier or simply problems while searching for the information in the hotel system. We lost, in total, about 2:30hours waiting for the check-in to be done and our rooms to be avaiable, that means a lot when you're trying to late check in at 11pm.
