Good location and spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Roof top pool is a plus, though age of the amenities starts to see (lobby looks modern, rest of the hotel not much). No special welcome (room upgrade and/or welcome gift) as Platinum member, but appreciated the late check-out provided. Breakfast was missing some important elements (no more eggs, no black tea).

We had douple booking, one room was cancelled, but seems impossible to get refund from the cancelled room. I can’t undersrand this.

Mr. Anti, What actually happened is that you made the reservation through a third-party agency, and what was reserved with us by the agency was a non-refundable rate in case of modification or cancellation. We had double booking and we tried to cancell the other room direct from hotel and from Guest Reservations, we had one room and we payed from two, and have not got any refund yet. Until we have refund from the other room we cannot recommend your hotel. We think that this us not good customer service.

The hotel was in a perfect location - we enjoyed walking around the area and felt safe, even in the evenings. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and spacious. We really liked having the separate little 'dressing room' for storing our luggage, shoes, etc. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful - excellent variety and quality. This is our second time staying at a Mercure in Sao Paulo and I believe we will continue to choose Mercure hotels whenever we visit Sao Paulo as we know what standards to expect.
