The room service doesn't speak English, the bathroom had no shower gel, the staff deactivated my room key accidentally. It was a total nightmare. The only good part of this hotel is the prime location.

The personnel at the front desk was very welcoming and cared to make my check in process efficient. Breakfast was delicious. The breakfast staff was not very attentive but I think it was because of the language barriers

Reliable yet no-frills hotel

My first impression of this hotel was somewhat negative because I had booked a superior suite and the allocated room looked very small for this category of room. I even double checked with the front desk, they advised me that the rooms were all same size (small) and that the amenities were the only thing that changed for the superior suite, like availability of bathrobes for instance. However, this was a strange comment as I didn't have bathrobes in the room either. In the end, this first room proved extremely noisy in the morning (refurb works at the hotel) and we were woken up by construction noise and then we proactively asked to move to another room on a lower floor, which turned out to be of the size I expected (still no bathrobes though).

The bathroom was lacking. The shower didn’t drain properly, the toilet was temperamental, and the fit and finish of the room was off. The rest of the hotel room was great. But the bathroom just wasn’t.

Rooms Need improvements

My guest room number was 219, on the first night I noticed that the front door had a considerable gap all over it when closed meaning that noises and part of the corridor light would enter the room, it was unfortunate that the Guest from the front room was watching TV during the whole night and it was if I was watching it let alone the light beams on my face due to the bed angle with the front door having the described gaps. In order to mitigate this issue, I positioned my head were the feet were supposed to be. Please note that other rooms also seemed to have such gaps as it was possible to hear clearly what people were talking, if they were having a shower or using the bathroom and so forth. Having said that, two points of improvements: - Verify if a door frame rubber seal can be installed in all rooms - Add a Iron and Ironing board, during business trips one may need to iron their clothes (once more) for the next day to be presentable.
