We arrived by bike, completely soaked and bedraggled after riding through an intense rainstorm. From the moment we arrived, your staff treated us with the utmost kindness and respect. They immediately helped us secure our bikes in a locked room and even charged my e-bike battery on our behalf. We were incredibly grateful and so impressed by the warm welcome we received. Your reception team also kindly booked us a table in the restaurant for that evening, making everything effortless for us. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately presented, and equipped with everything we needed. After a long day cycling, we both enjoyed one of the best night's sleeps we've had in a long time. We particularly appreciated the booking system for the spa, which ensured guests could enjoy the facilities without them ever feeling overcrowded. We made full use of the spa both in the evening and again before our departure, and it was a wonderfully relaxing experience. We also enjoyed aperitifs using our welcome drink vouchers and savoured a lovely glass of wine each before dinner. We chose the wine-pairing dinner and were absolutely blown away by every single course, from the exquisite amuse-bouches to the perfectly matched cocktail served with the delicious meringue and apricot dessert. Every dish was beautifully presented, and each pairing enhanced the flavours perfectly. We had no idea what an exceptional experience awaited us. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every detail exceeded our expectations. Our stay became a truly special memory during the month we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. It is rare to experience such consistently warm, attentive, and efficient service from a hotel group. We will happily make a deliberate detour to Rennes in the future simply for the pleasure of staying at your hotel again. Merci à tous pour ce merveilleux séjour.

Balthazar went above and beyond welcoming our family and making sure our stay was comfortable. Everything from the rooms, comfortable beds and high quality rooms was incredibly comfortable. We're traveling with a 2 year old and in the room a crib was set up with a welcome pack for our baby including baby specific bedding. We havent had this at any other hotel. This is one of the best hotel we've stayed in around the world.

We had a lovely experience at Balthazar. From the moment we entered, my husband and I were made to feel welcome. The team here is really attentive and good at greeting each guest. Our room was even more comfortable than we imagined, and what a nice suprise to see a sweet note and treats left by Geoffroy and his team to congratulate us on our marriage. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and generosity. Everything about our stay was great! The hotel is clean, well-located, and just feels calm and elegant. We had a lovely time at the spa, and a nice late-night drink at the bar. The two young men at the bar were very kind and professional as well. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but will do next time. Thanks to the entire team for such a pleasant stay, and we hope to return when we're back in Rennes!
