The employees were very, very nice, each of one. But the hotel is too big. It is not good to have to go to the first floor and then again to the third floor for the breakfast. I am used to get my welcome drink at the bar, I like drinking a glass of wine at the bar the first or second evening. Mama Shelter gives an applejuice in the room as a welcome drink. I don't drink Apple juice...... I am platinum and I hadn't the impression to get much more than the other guests.

Sir, Thank you for your stay. It's such a pity that although our teams were able to meet your expectations, you still penalized them heavily with a 6/10. And especially regarding the good drink. I can confirm that not all our clients have our excellent local organic apple juice in their rooms. As for the glass of wine, well, we do sell them.... The reception team

We booked one night through the Accor hotel website specifically because we wanted to enjoy the swimming pool, as well as the bars and restaurants. When we arrived at the spa desk to go for a swim, we were told the pool was closed. This was not mentioned anywhere on the official Accor website. We went to the reception to ask about it. The lady at the desk didn’t speak English, and the man insisted that the information was clearly stated on the official Mama Shelter website. When we explained that we had booked via the Accor site (not directly on Mama Shelter), he said he would speak to the manager. We received no further update or communication during our stay. The reception staff began avoiding eye contact and barely responded when we passed by. The next day, at checkout, we asked to speak directly to the manager. He repeated the same explanation as the previous staff member. None of the employees expressed any apology or regret, nor did they make any effort to improve our experience or offer compensation (such as a discount, voucher, or alternative gesture). The manager even claimed he had offered us a late checkout extension, which he had not. We had been planning to bring our family for a full week in a few months, but we will now choose a more polite, respectful, and transparent hotel instead.
