A very comfortable one-night stay, which we booked at the last moment after deciding that we could not stay at another hotel in the area that did not have air conditioning. We were very happy with the relaxed check-in we found the deposit taken to be reasonable (we have been asked for much more from other hotels). We stayed in room 347, which was very comfortable and provided us with much needed room for our last day of travel to repack. Our only (small) gripes with the room would be (1) the lighting, which is generally a bit too dim in parts of the room and bathroom, and (2) the lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom, which would have been nice because while the bathroom is spacious (understandably for an accessible bathroom) the whole room gets very wet when the shower is used. Breakfast was delicious and catered for wide range of tastes. We appreciated the relaxed check-out procedure as well.

I spent three nights at the hotel for a family wedding. The staff was excellent, the room had no flaws, and the gentleman at reception honored my request for room with the view. The food was a disappointment.

I visited Mama Shelter for 3 days over a friend's wedding and it truly helped make the weekend so special. It was such a great base for us all to gather, with plenty of areas to just "hang out". I love the courtyard terrace, restaurant and rooftop. The pool and spa was an extra bonus. Highly recommended!

The Inlay remark I Need to make is that the room was located underneath the restaurant and was therefore very loud at night. We were traveling with kids!! Therefore no comfortable sleep..

We spent 10 days across Brittany and this was the best hotel we stayed in. The location is very central and yet the hotel is very quiet. The rooms are spacious and the layout is very nice. We have stayed twice and would recommend it.

The reception staff were very welcoming and our room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Great bars and again really efficient staff. The location of the hotel is perfect - surrounded by good restaurants and bars. I would have given a score of 10 except our breakfast experience was poor. There was very little in the hot buffet we had to ask for some eggs and coffee was from a vacuum flask. It was also very expensive.

We loved our stay. Mama was perfectly located, with excellent service, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. One request would be to allow more guests to have an a la carte style breakfast (coffee, toast, eggs only - not the whole buffet) if desired. The roof-top setting for breakfast and the bar in the terrace were wonderfully atmospheric!

Disappointed in parking and disappointed in amenities like swimming pool and only access one hour and not able to bring a guest and nearly got overcharged

So, we'll take the liberty of giving you the same reply: We are sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the parking, we would like to clarify that it is a public parking facility and is not owned or managed by the hotel. Therefore, we have no control over its pricing or policies. This information is clearly stated on all of our booking platforms prior to confirmation. As for the swimming pool, access is reserved for registered hotel guests. Like the vast majority of hotels, we do not allow outside visitors to use the facilities free of charge. It is also clearly specified on our website that access for external guests is subject to an additional fee. Finally, while we appreciate your comments, we were surprised by the 10/100 rating. In your review, you mention that the overall experience was "generally alright" and that the hotel's location was "very good." Given these positive remarks, such a low score does not appear to reflect the overall experience you described. While the location was at a great location and the room was comfortable, the hotel lacked amenities. For instance, our room did not have hair conditioner which made it very uncomfortable. They have a combined shampoo and body wash. I tried to call the front desk but they didn't have it eithre.

The hotel is full of character. Easy check in . Room was spacious with a walk in shower. Breakfast was great, great selection. Very friendly staff. Lovely courtyard which was great to watch the World Cup football. Street parking was available. Also underground parking was available only a few meters away. I would definitely recommend staying.
