Hammam and jacuzzi inoperable; this was a big selling point for us. The temperature in the room was VERY warm, even for my French fiancé. The instructions on the wall said to tell the front desk who will adjust the temperature. When we told the front desk to please adjust the temperature colder while we were away from the room, when we returned, the temperature was the exact same, but a window was opened. This was a joke to us; rather than adjusting the temperature of the climate control, as the instruction placard on the wall says to do, a window was opened. We were sweating in bed for the 2 nights we stayed. When i told the front desk on our departure, they almost did not acknowledge this concern. And the mattress quality and pillows were terrible, we both had sore backs each day from the horrible quality mattress. I will not be returning to this location again, and will have to seriously think about returning to any Novotel in the future.
