Sleepless night in tiny room the size of a shoebox with no place to open a suitcase, no closet (there were two hangars on a wall hook) no room to sit and barely enough space to get around the bed. And this was the standard room! Asked for refund in the morning and despite a room change during the night nothing was offered. Will never stay at this chain of hotels again.

All the staff were very nice and professional. I received a warm welcome at the reception, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Not only him, but also the housekeeping staff were kind, approachable, and always willing to help. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made my stay even more relaxing. My room was perfectly cleaned every day and was always in excellent condition. The air conditioning was also a great advantage and made a huge difference during the hot days. Overall, the hospitality and service were outstanding and made my stay very pleasant. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located near Rennes station and a bus stop. Both locations are easily accessible. The room is clean and the breakfast is fine. The only issue is the step close to the elevator hall. Be careful!

Ibis Styles is a conveniently situated hotel across from the Gare from which one can easily walk into town and explore Rennes. Moreover, the staff are very helpful (mostly bilingual) and the breakfast buffet is complete with a nice selection of different foods that can accommodate different diets, including vegetarian. The rooms are quite adequate and of course clean although you might ask for a room not facing the street a bit higher up to avoid noise. Highly recommended for a short say at a reasonable price. One other bonus is that rental car pickup (for Sixt at least) is right in front of the hotel making luggage management a piece of cake.

It's not my first time at Styles Rennes Centre Gare Nord, but this time, air-conditioning was loud (each 5 minutes, a big vibration noise, even if the A/C was turned off) and the fire alarm got triggered in middle of the night (4am). Was supposed to be a rest-night during a business trip, ended up tired in the morning sadly

The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and a handful of restaurants which made it ideal for our use traveling through Rennes as we could get a good meal, sleep, enjoy breakfast, and then pop over to the station first thing in the morning. The desk staff were helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was solid standard with a good shower in the bathroom and well soundproofed. The only down side is that the spring mattress on the bed was much more firm than the memory foam mattress we're used to at home. Breakfast in the morning was standard hotel selection of good quality and well presented. Overall, no complaints and a good value. I would definitely stay here again while traveling, especially as this property is not trying to make the hotel your destination, but simply a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep after being out doing whatever you're actually there to do.

So convenient to all transport. Fast efficient check-in. Small room but well laid out. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. I heard almost no noise from neighbours. Very good breakfast with many choices. The only negative was that lift. I was surprised every time it delivered me to the appropriate floor.

Room to hot - 25°C! but no heating in the bathroom

The room was clean and pleasant smelling, the shower correct and with good hot water and a total of 3 towels each. The desk staff helpful and courteous. Such a pity our otherwise good experience was spoiled by uncaring, sloppy, provision and service in the breakfast room. One in particular needs strong disciplining. The shrug of the shoulders when I enquired about the fresh orange machine, the bland "it was burnt" when I tried to stop her throwing my toast away, the same careless attitude of denial when I said two slots on the 4-slot toaster were not working.

Tiny expensive room, bad elevator, noisy hall

Je comprends tout à fait votre frustration concernant la taille de la chambre et le prix. personnel d'accueil très agréable. moquette/couloirs, sdb vieillissants. Odeur d'un produit de ménage utilisé assez désagréable et forte, mais c'est parti au bout de quelques heures en aérant, ça donne quand même une mauvaise image à l'arrivée dans la chambre.
