The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and a handful of restaurants which made it ideal for our use traveling through Rennes as we could get a good meal, sleep, enjoy breakfast, and then pop over to the station first thing in the morning. The desk staff were helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was solid standard with a good shower in the bathroom and well soundproofed. The only down side is that the spring mattress on the bed was much more firm than the memory foam mattress we're used to at home. Breakfast in the morning was standard hotel selection of good quality and well presented. Overall, no complaints and a good value. I would definitely stay here again while traveling, especially as this property is not trying to make the hotel your destination, but simply a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep after being out doing whatever you're actually there to do.

So convenient to all transport. Fast efficient check-in. Small room but well laid out. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. I heard almost no noise from neighbours. Very good breakfast with many choices. The only negative was that lift. I was surprised every time it delivered me to the appropriate floor.

Room to hot - 25°C! but no heating in the bathroom

The room was clean and pleasant smelling, the shower correct and with good hot water and a total of 3 towels each. The desk staff helpful and courteous. Such a pity our otherwise good experience was spoiled by uncaring, sloppy, provision and service in the breakfast room. One in particular needs strong disciplining. The shrug of the shoulders when I enquired about the fresh orange machine, the bland "it was burnt" when I tried to stop her throwing my toast away, the same careless attitude of denial when I said two slots on the 4-slot toaster were not working.

Tiny expensive room, bad elevator, noisy hall

Bonjour, Je vous remercie d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire part de votre avis. Je suis sincèrement désolé d'apprendre que votre séjour n'a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Je comprends tout à fait votre frustration concernant la taille de la chambre et le prix. L'état de l'ascenseur et le bruit dans le couloir sont également des problèmes inacceptables, et je vous présente mes excuses pour ces désagréments. Sachez que nous avons des projets de rénovation en cours pour améliorer le confort de nos clients. Nous prenons vos remarques très au sérieux pour nous aider à améliorer nos services.
