The staff was very professional and welcoming, the room was small but very clean and comfortable, (including the bed), the shower was great. And we were pleasantly surprised at how extensive the breakfast was--it was a great value at 13 euros. We highly recommend this Ibis if you need an affordable hotel close to the Rennes train station. It was perfect for us.

Good or an overnight stay in Rennes

Stayed one night on way from our home in Burgundy to our holidays in southern Brittany. We wanted to be near the centre with secure parking nearby for our car with bikes on the back. Good parking at C-Park under the station - but very expensive - 39 euros for the night! On this occasion we probably would have done better to pay more for a hotel that included free or cheap parking...

For a 24-hour stay, we chose this hotel for location at the station. As it was raining heavily when we arrived, the very short walk was ideal.
