Lovely refurbished hotel. Very comfortable bedrooms. Nice breakfast until 11am! Pleasant staff. Very well located, just off Place de la Comédie. Very near shops and restaurants, Tram Lines 1 & 2 , and mainline rail station St Roch. Highly recommended.

I was happy with everything. The location is great indeed, the room was spacious enough, very clean, the staff were very kind and polite. The food was good, lots of choices.

Staff were friendly and the location is good. However, the room was ultra-minimalist and therefore less than welcoming: a comfortable chair, a rubbish bin (beyond the tiny bin in the bathroom) and a safe to keep one's valuables would have been really nice. And maybe offer an actual glass or cup rather than a cheap paper cup? I appreciate that it's not a luxury hotel, but is this really too much to ask? The main issue was the noise. Contrary to the claim on the hotel's website, the room was definitely not 'soundproof'. The clamour from the bar down the alley was incessant, and since the window didn't close properly, it wasn't possible to have a good night's sleep. The noisy street cleaning vehicles in the early hours of the morning didn't help either.

The staff, location and facilities are very good. My only comment is that you could hear a lot of noise from the street. The first night, for la Fête the la Musique, I accept it. The second night we stayed there we could also hear street noise. Apart from this is was perfect.
