I love this hotel. This Mercure has a perfect location close to trams and stores and restaurants but in a calm quiet area. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It is a very relaxed and friendly place. Traveling often to Montpellier on business can get a bit tiring. The beds are a comfortable cosy reward after a long day at work. The breakfast is so worth it. Good coffee (so tired of bad coffee at some hotels!). Extensive hot and cold offerings. I especially love their fresh fruits. The only possible negative is the inability of some guests to gently close their doors and speak in inside voices in the hallways. But that is not the hotel’s responsibility to train their guests😆

En plus du confort de la chambre tout juste refaire à neuf, j'ai vraiment apprécié le confort de la literie et le buffet du petit-déjeuner (des fruits murs à point).

Très bel hôtel à l’architecture originale à l’image du quartier: grand hall de réception majestueux, jolie salle pour les petits déjeuners, bar accueillant. Probablement assis sur son originalité, on a vraisemblablement ignoré trop longtemps son caractère vieillissant. Heureusement des travaux sont en cours qui devraient redonner tout son lustre à cet hôtel. Un retard dans la préparation des chambres nous a contraint à attendre un certain moment avant de pouvoir en disposer, cette attente compensée par une boisson offerte au bar. Nous avons été surclassé en compensation dans une partie non rénovée de l’hôtel, faisant bien apparaître l’urgence des travaux à entreprendre. Le personnel est au top! Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir y séjourner lorsque les travaux seront terminés.
