It was good but the promise when checking in wasn't fulfilled. I was upgraded and given a free mini bar and it was mentioned it would be restocked each morning but it was only water that was restocked. When I asked at reception they said they would refill it but they only added extra water and not the juice or coke etc.

Very comfortable room decorated in soft colours. Comfortable bed and loved the open plan bathroom design. Rooftop bar and restaurant was very pleasant for tea, working, a cocktail and breakfast buffet was extensive. Marie who is working in the restaurant was an absolute delight and so warm and friendly each time I came for breakfast. Great to have the water refill station in the lobby and a few complimentary drinks in the room refrigerator. Tram stop two minutes walk from hotel and 15 minutes walk to Place de la Comedie. I'll be back!

Entering a hotel through a large poorly signposted underground car park(fine if you have just got out of a car)is not for me or my ailing wife(we're 78).

We are sorry to hear that the access to the hotel was not as convenient as you had hoped, particularly for you and your wife. We are nevertheless pleased to know that Michael was able to listen to your concerns, and we will be happy to share your kind words with him. For clarification, the access through the underground car park is intended primarily as a shortcut to the Polygone shopping centre and Place de la Comédie, rather than as the main access to the hotel. From Place de la Comédie, the hotel is approximately three minutes away via the Polygone, while the route through Antigone and the Passage de l'Horloge takes around ten minutes. Regarding the bed, our rooms are equipped with beds meeting Accor's standard specifications. This height also allows for the use of bed raisers when needed, which helps provide more comfortable working conditions for our housekeeping teams. For a future stay, we would be very happy to recommend one of our accessible rooms, where the beds are lower and may be more comfortable for you and your wife. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again and, should you return to Montpellier, we would be delighted to assist you personally in choosing the room and access that would best suit your needs. Sometimes everything is great - and every now and again someone pulls out all the stops for you! Cannot praise the staff here highly enough - from the friendly staff by the pool and cleaning our room, to reception who printed documents for our daughter. But Michael (with Manchester heritage!) was the standout star. We were in the city to drop my daughter at the university and he made what could have been a stressful stay relaxing and easy!

Right from our lovely reception from Tom at check-in we were impressed by the hotel. Our deluxe room felt spacious (for a city centre hotel) and well-designed; I always appreciate light switches inside the bathroom so you don't wake up your partner at night. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was impressive, eggs were available cooked to order and the buffet had a good range of different options, including lots of local products. The rooftop pool isn't huge but people were enjoying it and it's pleasant to enjoy an apéro at the rooftop bar. My only negative comment would be that it's a shame smoking is allowed around the pool. We had to move indoors for breakfast one morning because some inconsiderate people insisted on smoking right beside our table.
