Overall it went all well, b.fast was amazing, location is great, service mostly good. I do feel the rooms are way too small and found unconfortable that our restroom didnt have a door (only a curtain) given the fact I was with my GF... I ended up using the reception toilet for privacy. Also the wood at the windows was falling off and we couldnt open the windows

I made the reservation in Ibis Montpellier because on the website and when I called they told me they have a charger for electric cars. I called the same day to confirm if the parking was available and the answer was yes. However, when I arrived it was no space in the parking and not possibility to charge the car overnight. Nothing wrong, but important to be mindful that this is a hotel for very young people/students, not really suitable for families or seniors.

I'll start by saying that the staff was kind, but the website said the rooms were sound-isolated. My door was broken (and the room had a lot of damages) so I could hear people in the hallway. I informed a kind staff member about this the next Day. She said someone would fix it before the Day was over. I went out to visit Montpellier, but when I returned at night my door wasn't fixed along the other damages. When one pays 220 euros for two night it's expected to atleast have a door that works. Sorry, but the experience was just bad.

We were coming from Ibis Bourg-en-Bresse where we received a very satisfactory welcome and service. The arrival at Ibis Montpellier was all the contrary. First there is no place to park the car even for discharging luggage. Once arrived to reception desk, receptionist was checking something in the computer and did not attend us until she (apparently) has completed the task which it took about five minuts. We received key and asked to have some food which we carried in isolation bag to store for one night in the refrigerator. Denegated due to 'general rule of the hotel' ?? We had not the same reply in our previous call at Ibis Bourg-en-Bresse. We were asked to pay in advance for overnight parking, after we had tendered our credit card for possible charges. We paid and did not get a receipt of the cash handed over. Room was tiny and bathroom was simply a joke, with a single curtain of separation with bed space. Regret I cannot reccomend this hotel to anybody.

Absence of daily cleaning due COVID19

Due to COVID, the hotel is no longer provide daily room cleaning yet it doesn't provide all the materials to allow the client to handle themselves the cleaning. As an examples the absence of toilet brush, floor clothes, raclettes, and soon on. Beside the this, my stay was excellent!

My experience within the hotel was positive. However I have to mull all of that since I was charged for breakfast separately, although my booking already included the breakfast. Even worse, I already complained to the property and submitted all the necessary evidence and they've decided to simply ignore it, not even answering to my emails (written in french btw, is not as if they don't understand the situation).

There was not a door in the bathrroom, the girl at the reception could not suggets any place to visit. Place well located, not expensive and with all minimum required. The ac was a bit noisy. The place was clean.

A beautiful city with a great historic center, parks and many good restaurants. Easy and friendly TRAM and Bus system with excellent service, facilitate to move around the city. Ibis Montpellier Centre has a good location just two minutes walking to Antigone TRAM station.

Hotel is situated in a really good place just 3 minutes by foot to Place de la Comédie. Rooms are clean however quite small and for some people the separation between restroom and room itself just with the small curtain can be not comfortable. There is small parking for guests, that we have booked by email with getting confirmation from hotel that the spot is reserved but when we have arrived we have been informed that there is nothing such reservation but we were still lucky and we had a spot.

The bathroom was too small, literally a niche on the wall [definition of a niche: a shallow recess, especially one in a wall to display a statue or other ornament], this includes the shower as well. I could barely fit inside the shower.

Tiny rooms with no separate bathroom/toilet facilities. Air conditioning doesn't work on the southern side of the building. No smoking rooms stank of cigarettes. The quality of the food in the restaurant was very bad - the choice was limited and the food overcooked and over-priced

This hotel has excellent facilities for a city centre hotel. Two minutes from the tram, less that 10 minutes walk to the comedie central square in Montpellier and next to the shopping centre. 10 minutes walk from the train station too. The hotel is located in a quiet area too, which is really nice to get away from the busy centre. The breakfast was great and the hotel also has a restaurant, which was very good.
