Very nice room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast. On the downside, had to switch to a different hotel due to the complete absence of any cycle storage facilities at the first hotel we had booked. I was also disappointed to find that the buffet breakfast did not offer any fresh decaf coffee: we were instructed to get this ourselves from reception and that on the following day we would have to pay for these coffees or make do with decaf instant coffee (like in a youth hostel).

The hotel is clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. Despite being close to a main road, the window is really effective at minimizing the noise, and as a light sleeper, I had a quiet and relaxing night. If I had to change something : we could not open the window, which is not ideal when you want some fresh air when you wake up. And the breakfast was limited in quantity, and I could expect fresher products.

The hotel's location is great, properly maintained, the staff is helpful, breakfast is good, but housekeeping unplugged all our chargers while cleaning the room to save energy. I have never experienced that in the 100s of properties I've visited, and I came back to having all my items that should have been charged now out of battery!!! This is clearly unacceptable, as I paid for the room and should not have housekeeping taking this type of action. It's regrettable for a property that I would otherwise recommend.

We stayed as a family in connecting rooms. Rooms were both very clean and modern style. There is no food as in lunch/dinner available in the hotel but plenty of restaurants 2 mins walk in a square so very handy. Shopping centre right behind the hotel which is convenient. The parking is right underneath the hotel not provided by hotel ran by different operator but hotel covers cost from 11pm to 6am. The hotel needs to specify on hotel website that there is electric car charging available in this car parking as we couldn't find out this information and ended up charging our car before we got there which was inconvenient. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Overall a nice clean modern hotel in an excellent location, with pleasant staff. A really good breakfast is included in the room price. The only issue is the price of the car parking. On our first day it cost us 30 euro as the voucher from the hotel wouldn't scan. On the second day the voucher did scan and reduced the parking to 20 euro, which is OK for a secure carpark with direct to the hotel. I noticed multiple people have complained about the carpark operator Indigo with similar issues with voucher not working from other businesses in the centre.

This hotel is located right next to a shopping centre with lots of shops and restaurants. We parked our car in the shopping car park overnight and were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was quite affordable. The hotel paid for the hours between 23.00 and 6.00.

Great breakfast. Comfy room. Suggestion would be more pre-checkin instructions regarding parking. Only negative that comes to mind is the door thresholds. Someone is going to break a leg or neck on those things. I stumbled while carrying bags and hyperextended a knee as I pitched forward and hurt for a day or two after.

My husband and I spent two weeks at the Ibis Styles in Caen. We alternated days in town with day trips by train. Every place we wanted to go in Caen was easily reached by walking, taking tram a block away or using free tiny shuttle buses that circle the town center. For day trips the train station was just two blocks away. We had a large comfortable room on the top floor and opted for a room with a couch for extra space. The view from the room was incredible and overlooked the Orne River and the center of town. Lovely area to walk to many bars and restaurants. Sunsets were incredible. Would definitely stay here again.
