Room too warm even with window open . Centrally controlled A/C not a good choice Plastic mattress protector noisy and made me sweaty

First day breakfast service was excellent, good choice of promoted artisan bread and pastries, due to large coach trips breakfasting early in the morning, very little choice for later (08.30) people, only ends of baguettes and other bits and pieces of breads and pastries. No cups for beverage or glasses for orange juice, milk in the machine run out and not refilled (although requested. The Hotel itself is lovely, very clean, great staff, brilliant location, with bars and restaurants close by. Will definitely return (without the breakfast).

Stayed 2 nights in Caen at Hôtel Mercure Caen Centre Port de Plaisance and it was excellent- especially the larger- for France- rooms, massive breakfast, and great central location on the canal downtown.
