Our check-in and rooom were good but our restaurant food was very poor and we failed to get our welcome drink as the staff misunderstood us (despite us speaking French). Our restaurant bill was also wrong and we had to go back down to get it corrected.

Stayed to visit Caen, the WW2 museum and the beaches. Easy access to all, and a bonus…T2 tram is a short walk away to Castle and Abbaye.

On our arrival we were met by a warm, friendly and welcoming member of staff. He was very thorough when checking us into the hotel, even offered for us to book into the hotels restaurant. Once we had checked in, he directed us to our room. We settled into our room, but need to venture out. We spoke to the same gentleman, he was very helpful and informative of the area and which transport we needed to get from place to place. Overall, we found the staff very friendly, helpful and polite.
