Very clean and comfortable and very friendly staff Disappointing that the hotel closed it’s restaurant in the evening for guests but then catered for a large private group. As the hotel is not in a central position it meant we had to walk quite a distance to find somewhere to eat an evening meal.

Même si l’autre chambre était parfaitement fonctionnelle, nous comprenons tout à fait que cette situation ait pu être gênante et que vous n’ayez pas bénéficié de la même qualité de confort dans les deux chambres. Nous allons être particulièrement vigilants sur ce point et faire le nécessaire avec notre service technique afin d’identifier et de résoudre ce dysfonctionnement. We stayed one night as a family. The room was fine and well equipped. The restaurant looked good so we went for dinner. What a mistake. Just after we ordered a coach loadif guests arrived of around 50 and the service went from attentive to non existing. My order was missed and arrived 15 mins after the rest of my family. We ordered red wine and were served white. We asked for a carafe of water that never came. My children's hot chocolate dessert was served frozen inside. The staff were rushed off their feet and clearly were under staffed for the influx of guests. I spoke to reception to complain and was told the general manager would contact me the next day. They did not contact me. A disappointing experience of the restaurant which is poor considering what we expected from a mercure 4 star hotel.

Il est d’autant plus regrettable que vous ayez choisi de dîner au restaurant en famille et que l’expérience ait été aussi décevante. Oubli de votre commande, erreur sur le vin, carafe d’eau non apportée, chocolat chaud servi dans des conditions inacceptables… autant de dysfonctionnements que nous ne pouvons pas considérer comme satisfaisants. L’arrivée simultanée d’un groupe important a effectivement fortement sollicité notre équipe ce soir-là, mais cela ne peut en aucun cas justifier que la qualité de service auprès de nos autres clients en soit autant impactée. Nous devons être capables d’anticiper ce type de situation et de maintenir un service attentif et professionnel pour chacun de nos clients. Je regrette également tout particulièrement qu’après avoir signalé votre déception à la réception, vous ayez été informé d’un appel de ma part qui n’a finalement jamais eu lieu. Je vous présente mes excuses à titre personnel pour ce manquement. Vous aviez pris le temps de nous faire part de votre insatisfaction et il était de notre responsabilité de revenir vers vous. Je vais faire un point précis avec les équipes concernées afin de comprendre ce qui s’est passé ce soir-là et d’en tirer les enseignements nécessaires. Je suis néanmoins heureuse de lire que vous avez trouvé votre chambre correcte et bien équipée, et j’espère sincèrement que nous aurons l’occasion de vous accueillir à nouveau afin de vous montrer que cette expérience ne reflète pas le niveau de service que nous souhaitons offrir à nos clients. I am pleased to read that you appreciated the warm welcome and helpfulness of our receptionist. I will be sure to share your kind comments with her. However, I sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused by the closure of our restaurant during your stay. I completely understand your frustration, especially as the availability of an on-site restaurant was one of the reasons you chose our hotel. Please allow me to mention that our restaurant opening days and hours are indicated on our website and booking information. Nevertheless, your comments show us that this information may not always be sufficiently visible during the booking process, and we will review how we can make it clearer to help avoid this type of disappointment in the future. I also regret that you had to look elsewhere for dinner and that your evening did not meet your expectations. While our reception team did their best to recommend nearby restaurants, I understand this was not the experience you had planned. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. Our room , 125, was very clean and comfortable with an excellent tv screen for the rugby. Good parking. Very dissapointed that the restaurant was closed on a Saturday night. The staff who greeted us on arrival and departure were charming, friendly and professional. We have stayed here before and will stay again but would appreciate on site restarant/bistro facilities.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. People were very nice and very helpful. Hotel in itself is nice and clean. Rooms are large. Very good restaurant. However, my room was just behind air conditioner engines, resulting in a terrible noise all night. Also, employees must enforce rules regarding e-cigarette in the restaurant, this is not acceptable to eat next to smoking people...
