Slept very well, comfortable bed. Breakfast very satisfying. Room a bit challenging to warm up, on the chilly side for my wife even with the temp at max 25°. Full compliment of drinks included with the privilege room. Nice

We arrived on Sunday late afternoon the restaurant was closed which was very surprising for a luxury hotel BUT the receptionist suggested delivero. We ordered an Indian I went down stairs to see the same receptionist and asked if I could have some forks she popped of came back with plates knives and forks and said you are welcome to eat in the bar if you want to The food arrived and we ate in our comfortable room.. I would say that the receptionist was excellent and she is a very good advert for your hotel....

I visitted the hotel for couple of days. The hotel is not in the centre but it is very well communicated by tram, which runs frequently and it takes only 15 mins to the centre of Caen. People working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is not the newest, and one can see that in the rooms and facilities, it is clean and very comfortable. The special attention needs to go to the restaurant: the cuisin is exeptional and it is a pity, that the restaurant is closed on the weekends.

The hotel is perfect apart from not providing an evening meal at weekends despite advertising this service.

Indeed, when you booked on August, th erestaurant was opend on week-end. But as each year, we close on week-end from September until mid-June because of low-activity (and we miss staff this year...). We change our shedules on our website but we have no newletter to inform all clients. We hope that you enjoyed the drinks we offer you to apologize. The hotel is a scam. By creating a presentable lobby, it has managed to pass itself as a Mercure, which gets a 4* rating in France. But the rooms, the corridor, and the bathroom is smelly, dilapidated, and is falling apart. Dirty, disgusting carpet in the room. Even touching door knobs makes you feel dirty. The corridor leading to the rooms is falling apart, paint chipping off the walls and broken doors and windows. The room is just dirty and cheap, more like a 1 star hotel. The bathroom was bearable, but still had an old toilet and the sink area was dirty. Downgrade this to Ibis Budget.
Dear Khodadadkavad, Thank you for taking the time to write to us following your stay. We are surprised by your remarks, which we find quite extremist. Our rooms and common areas are cleaned thoroughly every day by our housekeepers. They work hard to provide you absolute comfort and talking about unsanitary conditions and poor hygiene is irrelevant and disrespectful to their work. Perhaps this is a feeling in relation to the decoration, but it remains subjective. Regarding the bedding, this is the latest generation Mercure range, which we changed less than three years ago.
