Dear Miss P., Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your stay. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our fantastic location, the comfort of the bed and pillows, our hotel decor, the pleasant reception area and our gym. We are, however, sorry that the room and its layout did not meet your expectations. Due to the historic architecture of our building, some rooms have specific features such as supporting beams and smaller windows, which can reduce the feeling of space. We understand that this was particularly inconvenient for two guests. Regarding the air conditioning, we are sorry that its position made it uncomfortable to use during the heatwave. We understand how difficult this must have been, especially on the top floor. Please note that our reception team is available 24/7 and can always be contacted should the temperature or room configuration cause any discomfort. We would also like to clarify one point regarding the alternative room. A different room was indeed offered to you, but as we did not hear back from you afterwards, we understood that you had decided to remain in your original room. We are sorry if this was not clear and regret that the opportunity to find a more suitable solution was missed. We also sincerely apologize if the welcome drinks were not mentioned clearly upon arrival, and if the attitude of some members of our team did not feel as warm and welcoming as it should have been. This is certainly not the level of hospitality we aim to provide. Regarding the minibar, it is not available in all room categories at our property, but is provided in our Privilege rooms. The room was small. It had a supporting beam, which rendered about a third of a room practically useless. The window was miniscule as well. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It was positioned right opposite to the bed, so that the cold air was blowing directly onto the bed. It was therefore impossible to sleep with the ac on. We were on the top floor, during a heatwave, so the ac was a must. We appreciated the hotel decor, it was very pretty. The sitting area at the reception was very pleasant. The staff could be nicer. The gym was great. The location is fantastic.

The hotel is well located. the room is clean and comfortable. staff members at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Services at the hotel are great except that i didn't get to have my breakfast one morning because i got to the breakfast room at 10:00. The staff told me that it's close. I think the breakfast hour at the hotel is from 6:30 to 10:30 during the weekday. So, i paid for it but didn't get to sit down to enjoy it. .

The ladies at the front desk were very fun and helpful. We appreciated the refillable water bottles. Location was very handy to train and petit Paris area. Our room smelled like paint when we arrived. We opened the window and it improved. Not a shower style that we are used to. Low shower head and no enclosure to contain the spray. Room was quiet and bed was good. Breakfast was ok.

I stayed at this hotel for four days and it was a pleasure. It is close to Strasbourg city center. The room had all necessary features. The bed was perfect and the sleep quality was very good. The water and juice In the fridge was free. The staff was nice and easy to communicate with.

the hotel was clean and comfortable however the room was warm (weather was also warmer than usual for the time of year). Staff informed us that management had decided to turn off the air conditioning for energy (or cost) saving so the a/c was unavailable for the duration of the stay. The window was able to be opened slightly which was better than having no ventilation at all however this did significantly impact what would have otherwise been a very enjoyable stay in a lovely city

Very conveniently situated for both the train station in Strasbourg and the city centre, but the experience was depressingly soulless: a very 'white', clinical decor, almost no staff (at times non visible at all) and those few whom we saw were , at best indifferent, and whilst polite, not very welcoming. The hotel has few communal facilities other than a chaotically organised buffet breakfast area (a basic range of breakfast choices though). Our room was adequate but looking tired and the shower cubicle had patches of black mould in the corners. The shower room fan appeared not to be working. It's OK for a short stay where all you want is the basics, but do not expect much beyond that.
