I had high hopes for my stay at Sofitel Nusa Dua Bali, especially as this was meant to be a memorable anniversary trip. I made a request 20 days in advance for a room closer to baby-friendly amenities and pool access, but when we arrived, none of that was honored. It felt like our needs were overlooked from the very start. The resort was hosting a wedding, and it clearly showed. The hotel felt understaffed, and room service was frustratingly slow—a simple request like bath salts and a bubble bath took three separate calls to finally arrive. The usual standard of hospitality was nowhere to be found, lost in the chaos of the wedding preparations. When I asked the receptionist during check-in about a room closer to the pool, I was told I could be upgraded for just one night—but only if I purchased an Accor Plus membership. This felt less like luxury service and more like a sales pitch at the worst possible time. We were placed in B Building, first floor, and there was a persistent stale water smell in the hotel verandah area. The room we got, B-2106, was honestly one of the worst I’ve stayed in. The balcony had zero view, half of it blocked by a shed. It felt cramped and neglected—certainly not what you'd expect from a premium resort. Food was another letdown. The offerings at Kwee Zeen were bland and uninspired. The bebek goreng (fried duck) was a disaster—clearly from an older bird with stringy, tough meat, completely unfit for a luxury setting. Even worse, I suffered a severe allergic reaction shortly after eating it—puffy, swollen eyes despite having no known duck allergy. This happened just hours before a 3 AM flight. Frankly, the entire experience fell well short of expectations. We chose Sofitel Nusa Dua hoping for a luxurious, family-friendly escape to celebrate a special occasion, especially given its Accor luxury branding. Sadly, this stay was the opposite of memorable—for all the wrong reasons. I will not be considering this property again.

I stayed at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Hotel for 1 night. In terms of security and comfort the hotel environment was very good. In terms of the room was also clean, spacious and very comfortable, I really like the condition of the room, the design of the room, the view from the room, the placement of furniture in the room, and etc. I was also grateful and thankful because the hotel has provided a non-slippery mat that makes My Mom more comfortable when taking a shower. Regarding the location, it was a bit far from the crowd because Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Hotel is in a separate complex with quite good security (must go through 2x inspection gates) 1 thing that would be a note in my memory. I just realized that Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach did not provide Room Service for Dinner and there was no Breakfast when Easter (Black Out Date), I do not know whether the information was conveyed to me because I stayed using a complementary voucher from All Accor or it was generally like that, because when I checked out (Easter day) around 10.30 - 11.00 WIB, I found many foreign tourists arriving at the lobby of the Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach hotel and according to information from the hotel staff, some of them wanted to order Brunch. I really regret that happened to us, considering that my mother and I deliberately did not bring food from outside because we wanted to taste the hotel's culinary delights. However, precisely because we stayed with a complementary voucher from ALL Accor we were given information that we could not order dinner in the room, "please go directly to the restaurant". And considering that we checked in quite tired because we were stuck in traffic on the way from Tanah Lot to the hotel (it was already 7:00 at night), we were too lazy to go out again to find food and in the morning we hurriedly packed up and checked out early to have breakfast outside. I have stayed in 5-star hotels like Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach several times , but it was the first experience Room Service for dinner was not available and Breakfast was also closed considering Easter (black out date). I intended to ask further when I saw the menu instructions on the TV and the menu book in the room regarding breakfast and room service options, but in the end I canceled that intention.
