Couldnt fault Sofitel staff as a Platinum member staying here. Service comes with a genuine smile and facilities well maintained. Only a few things showing its age.

The room is clean. The cocktail hour food is a bit lacking.
The room was upgraded a step further, but it turned out to be a double bed instead of a king-bedroom.
We didn't need such a big bed.

1) check in was v slow, waited for more than 45 minutes with the check in staff taking their own sweet time to check us in (3 staff handling 9 guests in total).
2) check out was slow but the wait was shorter as no other guests in the queue.
3) rooms are mouldy with a musky smell, badly maintained. My co-worker changed room twice as his room smelt like damped dirty cloth, super strong mouldy stench. Only the 3rd room smelled notmal.

We very much enjoyed our three-night stay at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. The pre-arrival communication was clear and efficient. As an Accor Platinum member, I was impressed by the excellent recognition and benefits. In addition to complimentary breakfast and lounge access, we were offered complimentary access to several activities and services, including bicycles, the tennis court and laundry, which would normally incur an additional charge.
I also noted that September is my birthday month, and the hotel very kindly arranged a beautiful birthday setup and a cake. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the dedicated Ambassadors were extremely helpful and always willing to assist with our requests.
The resort is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a wonderful place to relax and unwind. I would definitely choose Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort again on my next visit to Bali.

9 night return stay. Hotel kindly granted our request to be located in the same room as our previous visit which was greatly appreciated.
We enjoyed the massages, particularly the ocean breeze down at the beach huts and nice to not have to walk through sand once finished.
All the staff are exceptional - the stand outs for us were - Riski & Winda amazing massages at the beach huts. Marini who remembered us from our last visit in Club Millesime Lounge, as well as Prana & Indra who were both very friendly & attentive. Arjana who did our daily housekeeping. Also Linda a hostess at breakfast.
We were also fortunate enough to attend the ALL weekly Reunion twice, which is held of a Thursday night and a way of meeting hotel management and staff, whilst enjoying complimentary cocktails & canapes and watching some Balinese dancing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the swim up room.
We hope to return in 2027.

The resorts overall is nice. Room is nice & tidy, there are options for eateries & pools are nice (the kids pool is separated from the big pool). There’s a pathway along the beach that you can take to enjoy morning/evening strolls or go to next door or local eateries.

The resort is well located, specious and well suited for seniors like us. Naturally it has all facilities being a 5 star hotel. The staff are very courteous and always ready to help. Dining facilities are A-class. The area is very security conscious. Though the accomodation and facilities are for all ages, it is very senior friendly.

Upon checkin May is our receptionist who take us to lounge and process to give a huge room upgrade, welcome drink and very good explanation of hotel facilities. We only there for 2 nights so we did not expect much at first but I have to say this hotel exceed my expectation in many ways. Foods are great with good pricing and even better when you have Accor plus discount. The wellness facilities here probably the best by far from all hotels we stayed. It's 24/7 and have many equipments almost like commercial gym. It was such a lovely experience and for sure we will be coming back for longer stay

I've stayed at sofitel nusa dua on several occasions. With friends, my partner or my family. I was looking forward to have 2 relaxing days in the hotel at the end of a family holiday. My partner noticed straight away that the children's pool had safety hazards. Which included electrical issues. Secondly, even though we had the do not disturbed sign up we were disturbed and the staff member didn't want to leave before we gave a signature. Which was really unfortunate because our child was just asleep and woke up and we didn't have a relaxing time after that because of the interruption of sleep. To add to that I signed a bill at the pool and put my name and surname but only short version of my name and the staff member came back telling me my name wasnt right and I had to write the correct name. It felt all a bit more ridged than other times and made it less relaxing. I left a deposit and my credit card details. It wasn't necessary.
Also, the beach club next doors isn't part of sofitell I was told. The service was very poor. My mum stayed an extra day and decided to sit there and order food only to be told when she wanted to pay she had to spend a minimum amount. She tried but really wasnt more thirsty and hungry anymore and they still charged her the minimum spend amount. Not quite the 5 start service I would expect.

During my stay, I received consistently disappointing service time and time again.
Most notably, even though I am the Accor member, almost all staff solely greeted and addressed my husband when speaking to us. From check in, to coming into the lounge… basically no one acknowledged me at all. The only exception was Robert, who was the singular more professional and genuinely kind butler. He truly is an asset at a hotel that is sorely lacking.
The service in the lounge was also disappointing, to the point where we avoided it at all costs. The one time we visited during cocktail hour, not one staff member greeted us for over 15 minutes. When someone finally did come over, it was to get our room number (fine, that’s standard process), but then did not get us a menu or offer drinks or anything. Just walked away??? We didn’t get a table because it was busy, fine. But several other guests who came in after us were greeted warmly and told that they’d be given a table as soon as one cleared up… how do they decide which guests are ‘worthy’ of this service??
The room was beautiful though and housekeeping were consistently great. Such a shame because the poor service makes it permanently crossed off from our list for future Bali trips.

Underwhelming stay experience as a Platinum member. Booked a luxury hotel and instead of given next room category, i was only given the same room type with resort restricted view. The whole view was blocked with plants and leaves. When complained, they reassigned my room on my second night to luxury room with pool access.
The room on my first night had 2 issues, both phones were not working and bidet wasn’t running properly. Guest services had to send maintenance guy twice to my room to fix both issues, such an inconvenience. I didn’t expect the room assigned to a Platinum member would be that bad. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. If I as a Platinum member got room that bad, I can’t imagine what will the experience for non-members.

Although the resort is getting a touch old, it is still absolutely beautiful! The pools and gardens are simply amazing, and the rooms lovely, clean and comfortable. There are a host of places to eat, each with varying menus. Our favourite was Cucina - amazing Italian food. The Kwee-Zeen breakfast has a vast range of options and the good is enjoyable. And every single staff member is warm, friendly and welcoming. They will go out of their way to help you.
