Like the pool, room, and architecture of the buildings. Unfortunately The room not ready at the check in time, but got compensated by the duty manager (sorry forgot the name). Few things happened unexpectedly on the dining time to us, but fortunately the restaurant manager Kurniawan did a good job to cover it and serves us well.

Got a free upgrade! All is perfect except...

I stayed for 5 days at Sofitel during COVID19. It was splendid! Despite of COVID19 situations their services still beyond exception. I realized there is a reduction of staff (I just know it) and ofc it is mainly due bcs of this COVID19 things but they still managed it perfectly. When I asked or requested things, they still can delivered it on time. I don't need to asked twice (kudos to the team!). But I was a lil bit "surprised" when I saw their slippers. No hotel brand there and the slippers just felt like hmm.. 2 star hotel I guess (if u know what I mean). But anw, let s skip the slippers part. I don't really mind looking at the current situation. Sofitel still shown its five star quality after all. Great Job!

Hello, I’m Anthony, member of Accor Plus, i stayed at your hotel in 02 April 2021 (Room 3016). I think your hotel service has downgrade so much. I have few problem during the stay. FIRST, the key is not working (your hotel staff said she has reset for few times, but if she already reset, why still not working?). SECOND, the reception forgot to return my document, i have called the operator for few times but nobody answer, so I go down by myself to get the document. THIRD, the hot water is not working, I have to waited for one hour after my first complain before they repair it. FOURTH, it’s very hard and take a very long time for the operator to answer the phone. I hope you changed it, your hotel is my favourite one, please keep your good service as it used to be.

Overall stay was nice ..the pool amazing also the private beach was superb. The only thing that bothering our stay was when we want to checknout the reception asking us to pay for the room service which we dont order. And I have to stay for 15mts for them to cross check and makes us in hurry for the airport. And it found out the bill was wrongly sent for our room. It was an Amazing stay but end up with messy.

Stayed at Lagoon Access Rooms and it was superb experience for our family, kids love it so much. The Lagoon connected to main pool and the water warm enough to swim. Breakfast was OK with variety menus considering this situation. Sofitel I. one of the resort that still open in this situation and it's very very good. Well maintained. Thank you to Pak Tommy for the hospitality.

We expected something more on a 5 star hotel like Sofitel Bali. But turnsout there are many things that we dissatisfied, such as the room type that looked different from the photos, the service from the first time we arrived to the hotel, the bathub & shower, etc. We got so dissatisfied with all the things in here and decided to move to another hotel the next morning. Maybe you could improve something to be more good than this.

No buggy available, we have to wait 15 minute for a car to lobby for day 1, and the rest of the day no car available, so we use our own car to gontobthe villa. Cleanliness not good coz smells bad in the shower room and bed still dirty behind the duffet. Pool area also not clean very well.

The bad: 1. Chaotic check-in process, have to wait for an hour past the check in time (this is not considering my early check in rights as platinum member) 2. Room services was slow, had to wait for about 45 min for just an ice bucket. Even though the restaurant is just 2 minutes away from my room. 3. No option for in-room breakfast. Considering covid pandemic, restaurant should allow ala carte in-room breakfast. Instead, guest are forced to attend buffet breakfast in the restaurant, which don't really have social distancing measures. If only the buffet were great, at least it would be a saving grace. Instead the option was pretty basic, similiar like ibis level of buffet options. If they had concern of guest ordering too much, they can just limit the order to 2 mains per room. 4. Staff were uncoordinated, had trouble in asking the terms for bicycle rent facility. I've only given general directions to walk to the beach area and look for another staff for help there. In the end, even the beach bar staff who helped me also look clueless on this (not really his fault, he is a waiter for the bar after all) 5. Horrible internet, 1 Mbps download speed is pretty bad by today's standard. The good: 1. Building facilities are being maintained properly

Pleasantly upgraded to a Villa, we enjoyed a very luxurious stay for 2 nights. We loved the villa and the location of Nusa Dua, and all the hotel facilities. The breakfast was excellent, though the limited menu wasn't really to our taste. Unfortunately our neighbouring villa ran their spa/fountain ALL day and night and it's very loud, which wasn't so peaceful, I request to have it turned off but this fell on deaf ears, but honestly not that big a disturbance. Everything was very clean and the attitude to New Normal protocol was excellent. I loved the 2 seater bike and the SUP boards. thanks for a wonderful stay.

I stayed during Nyepi and the staff doesnt seem ready with the full occupancy rate. Firstly, the check in took soooo long with crowded people and no distancing at all. Secondly, when I finally able to checked in, there is problem in the room (insects and even tomcats! ). I called for Pest Control however it took them 1hr+ to arrive and not sure they caught the tomcats as it has moved somewhere. Thirdly, the hot water in my room doesnt work AT ALL since the first day til I checked out. The technician did come and check however it still did not work. When I came down late night to the lobby as no one answer my calls, surprisingly A LOT of guests also complaining in the lobby and not a single staff in the desk. I can hear the phone kept ringing yet no one answers. I waited almost 2 hours just to get someone help me with the hot water problem. The hotel is big and nice with friendly staff; but I dont think Sofitel is ready to welcome a lot of guests for the time being.

I stayed at sofitel from 9-15 March, for the first 2 days, i booked "The 7 Gifts of Heaven", because my wife birthday it's on 10 March, and then they have the "Magnifique Nyepi Offer" (Stay 4 pay 2),so i also booked that offer, eventhough i have free 2 nights to stay that i haven't used yet, when i'm arrived i can see there is not so many employees, no vallet, even i wait for the concierge to help me with the stuff eventhough he was there, so for the first 2 days we got upgrade to honeymoon suites, very nice and thank you for that, but the funny things, we found out there's a couple got villa even they are not ALL platinum member, so out of curiosity my wife asked how come they have villa, while we don't? oh by the way I'm ALL Platinum Member, and the answer is because the just opened some rooms, so if it's full, they give villa, so we are asking if we can move to villa, and on the third day, they give us villa, and thank you for that, now my story is a week before i arrived at Bali, i already contacted through whatsapp asking if there possible to have a surprise cake for my wife on 10 march, and they said later you can ask the Guest relation at the hotel, and when i arrived on 9th March, there is no Guest Relation, so i ask again through whatsapp on 5.30 pm, that they didn't respond, and the reply on 10 march 6.12 am, and said their pastry is closed and they didn't have any cakes available, and i said that it's better if you just told me from the first time i ask that you can't provide it, so i can buy from bakery outside the hotel, now on the day that my wife birthday you said that it's not available,actually i didn't want to bring this up, but what makes me dissapointed is on 13rd march the hotel was full because the "Magnifique Nyepi Offer", very crowded, and i saw on the Sofitel Nusa Dua Instagram there is 2 person get wine, so i'm curious, so i asked when i'm checked out, why they get wine? actually i already guess what she gonna said, you know what she said? "oow they are Platinum Member", so i said i'm also a Platinum Member, and i can see those two become nervous, and they said or maybe they are manager of Accor or have position, and i said it's impposible, because i check their instagram, they even booked their stay through travel agent! and i give her the screeshot one of the person that there is a letter hand writing said sorry about something, this is what makes me dissapointed, i still have something to write, but it's full

The check in was very long and unorganized. The breakfast and dinner venue were so full and crowded and didnt follow the seating social distance. The only thing I really like is the room. This is the worst Sofitel experience.

Since its opening in December 2013, I stayed so many times there. Love their luxury rooms, its ambience and their hospitality. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I stayed 3 times there and always felt safe and confident, because they strictly follow the safety protocol to prevent the virus spreading. Saw staffs keep sweeping the floor with disinfectant everymoment. Surgical Masks and hand disinfectant are now become ones of the amenities.

Even though the breakfast served with a la carte and limited menu (cause of pandemic season), but they taste sooo great! And thanks for the free upgrade for my room, very nice of you. And the room is beautiful and well-equipped. Their staffs are so nice and helpful. And you know what, they have their own "garden" (such as eggplants, chili etc), so nice to see the gardener harvesting the eggplants in the morning. Wonderful experience staying in Sofitel Nusa Dua, wish u all the best.
