Check in experience and the room cleaning service were flawless, and the room was great. However when it comes to breakfast, it all went downhill fast. From delays in finding tables, delays in setting up cutleries, lack of hospitality in general (e.g. no one was offering if we want to order coffee, or any drinks). More concerningly, there was often no plates/bowls/glass available in the buffet area. Also we perused the juice bar quite often, and perhaps 4 times out of 6, there was no one manning the station. People were left confused and not sure what to do, who to ask, as the juice station was just empty lots of time. Almost no plates for fruit and no glass available too. Also, how could it be guest's responsibilities to secure glasses for the juice? Isn't the station supposed to have plenty of glasses for the juice, assuming that all juice will need to be poured into glasses after juicing? Guests were left scrambling for glasses from anywhere as the glass station there are just empty. All in all, breakfast was disorganised, it looks like Sofitel is not prepared to host breakfast guests at breakfast time? I saw plenty of other guests needing to stand with their food plates on their hands, because staff were unable to secure chairs for them (this is on multiple days, happened to multiple people). Also stumbled upon a gentleman complaining something similar. He acknowledged that you guys are busy, but he said that you still need to be able to service your guests. I think that sums it up properly, I completely understand that breakfast can be extremely busy, particularly at a large resort, but the level of service and organisation should still be consistent with what guests would expect from a 5-star property. The repeated lack of basic items, unattended stations and difficulty finding tables/chairs made breakfast unnecessarily frustrating and left me wondering why the operation seemed so unprepared to serve guests during peak breakfast times.

Terrible. Am still waiting for my Accor points for the food and beverage paid for during my stay. Zero staff at the hotel had any idea or care for any other Accor membership other than the new plus program. So they put right refused to put my gold membership against my food and beverage spend as it did not change the price. Give me my points. Else what is the point in constantly stay with this chain.

On check in we were upgraded to a plunge room, which was a nice to have Accor membership acknowledged. However the room was damp, had black mould on the walls, and the bedding very damp. We called to request a move and were upgraded to a suite. The fix was quick and professional, and this was appreciated. However reception staff later let slip that this is a common problem with the rooms on the lower levels. This issue needs to be addressed more broadly. It’s not only unsightly and uncomfortable, mould is a health risk to guests. We had breakfast included in our stay, this is served at Kwee Zeen. This is an absolute disaster zone. There are plenty of staff but they don’t appear to have a proper strategy for breakfast. We entered from the lobby upstairs, there was no one at the entrance to seat us, the two other entrances also weren’t staffed, I had to find someone collecting plates to ask them for a seat, they were quite stressed. We were seated but no one asked us for our tea or coffee order, I would also suggest that in addition to this staff ask if guests want eggs (the queues for this station were out of control, I skipped the eggs). Another issue with breakfast was there were no plates - this appears to stem from not knowing when people have left, lots of used plates lying around, but no fresh stacked plates. Squirrels are also running across the pipes on the roof in the breakfast hall, this is unhygienic. Breakfast here was not a nice way to start the day. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the ground staff do a fantastic job at keeping the place looking nice. Unfortunately there were some issues in the pool with lights and wiring floating out from the wall of the pool. I only stayed at the hotel for 2 days after a 3 week trip because it was quite close to the airport and I am an Accor member. However I wont be returning on my next trip to Bali.

The resort was nice, and both the facilities and the staff were amazing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the spa—it was the best massage I’ve ever had in my life! I got a foot massage and a Balinese massage, and both were fantastic. The breakfast was also delicious, with so many options to choose from.

The hotel is a good location directly on a beach at Nusa Dua, room was great with a lovely view of the ocean and a relaxing vibe. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The staff within the club lounge are wonderful and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is relaxing and special including always prepared a special appetizer for me as a vegetarian. A special shout out to our butlers Bagus and Robert who ensured that our room and stay were perfect, they really are true asset to the hotel.

Stay was very noisy and expensive. We wanted a nice finish to our Honeymoon/Bali trip and we wish we stayed elsewhere. The food was some of the worst i've had in the world, it was very noisy, the pool felt really dirty, the glassware was also very old and yellow stained, our bed was two doubled put together and the pillows lacked any firmness. The power also cut out randomly during out stay which was very odd. Although the staff were very friendly and helpful it was a very underwhelming stay for us and won't likely return to the resort. Possibly more suited to Familys but even then, i wouldn't bring mine.

We had a very enjoyable family reunion at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and were very satisfied with our stay overall. Travelling with several generations of our family, including older family members and young children, made thoughtful coordination especially important to us. We sincerely appreciated the attention given to our family's arrangements and to our parents' accommodation. Special thanks to Hadi and Stefani for their assistance and their efforts to keep our family's rooms close together. We were also very satisfied with the cleanliness, breakfast and overall care shown by the team. What mattered most was being able to spend comfortable, enjoyable time together as a family, and we will remember this stay with great affection. Comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable. Kids club was great, beds were really comfy, room was well appointed. I wish there was better storage for our suitcases, and plunge pool was never in sunlight so it was always a little too cool. Otherwise a perfect stay.
