We stayed at the Sofitel for 6 nights. Its a beautiful hotel in a quite area. The grounds are well maintained and luxurious. The room was very spacious and well appointed. We were however disappointed with both the buffet dinner in the main restaurant which had limited food options when we arrived at 7:30pm and for the price there are much better options nearby. The "high end" restaurant was also disappointing for us. We waited an hour before our first food came out and we had selected the food and wine dinner. It took 40 minutes to take our order and we spoke with three different staff. We were sitting outside and they turned the music off before we had finished our mains as we were the only ones left it seemed they wanted to go home. I would recommend both restaurants look to improve their offering. There are a lot of other options along the beach we had better experiences at. The staff at the breakfast and the food options were impressive. The pool area is fantastic although the wifi is intermittent. Although there is a kids only pool a lot of children were in the pool near the bar. Given there are so many pools it would be great to have this as an adults only area. Lots of choice and always a lot available. We would definitely stay again.
