I had a really enjoyable stay at ibis Styles Amsterdam Amstel. It’s a great budget-friendly option with an excellent location, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the staff were polite and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a double room, which made our stay even better—the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn’t the best, so noise from outside or neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard. Overall, a fantastic value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Amsterdam.

When I arrived there was a sign on reception that the receptionist was away and would be back soon. I waited for 20 minutes and no one, they only arrived when their food delivery arrived and reluctantly checked me in. The room had an issue with the air conditioner and would turn on for 2 minutes before powering off with an error code. Room was very hot, and very loud, could hear voices from other rooms as if they were sat next to me.

Overall, it was a good experience, this hotel is well located near supermarkets, transportation and turistic points. The only downside was a non working AC.

The first room I was given had an issue with the window, it was not closing properly and cold air was coming through. Not to mention it was very noisy with no noise block from outside ( was on 1st floor). I was given another room, had kind of a urine-like smell but I thought this could be fixed by opening inf the windows for a bit, but the smell was still there in the evening. Also the pillow case had black marks on it and under the bedsheet was filthy with hair and stains. I asked to change and they did come very fast to change the full bedsheet set and under the bedsheet cover.
