This Hotel is very good located with the metro that’s just 5 min food walk away. The personal from the reception and restaurant is very kind and friendly. They have for everything an open ear! Also the cleaning stuff did a very good job! We enjoyed our stay very much. The Room itself was beautiful with a Paris touch in design. The view to the streets were amazing, even if it’s get often loud because of the traffic. The breakfast was always a perfect start to the day, everything that’s needed is prepared (also crepes !) I am very thankful for this magic stay!

Everything was very nice, especially the breakfast was very very good. However, the shower had mold all over the walls, which can be very dangerous after long exposure. And the safe was quite small, and didn't fit a normal size laptop which is quite restrictive.

Would have been perfect except for two things - loud noise in room every 7 minutes or so,, probably electrical. Woke me up constantly after an overnight flight. Scrambled eggs did not seem like real eggs. Seemed like powdered.

The staff are friendly and my room was very comfortable. There is a very nice Asian restaurant across the road where I had a delicious light supper. A perfect hotel for taking an early train from the Gare de Lyon.

It is a nice hotel, well located, good staff. The room is attractive, the bed is comfy, choices have been made when designing the bathroom (which is nice to see even if you find those choices questionable). However, the a/c units for the ground floor are next to the window for this room and the constant rumbling roar is loud enough to vibrate some of the fixtures and furniture, which I noticed as I lay awake all night. I would say that the fundamental purposes of a hotel room are being a place to sleep and to secure your stuff when you are not at home. This stay failed to meet that first purpose.

The hotel is well located but in my view it is not up to 4 star standard lacking attention to detail of what is expected at a hotel of this category.

Regarding the storage space, we were quite surprised by your comment, as the room you occupied is equipped with two wardrobes and we have never received similar feedback about this room before. We also note your comments regarding breakfast. Our scrambled eggs are prepared according to Mercure brand standards, and we regret that they did not meet your expectations. It is a pity that these points were not mentioned to our team during your stay or at check-out. Just a short walk from the Gare de Lyon, this hotel was reasonably good, if somewhat expensive. Bedroom would have been good for one person but felt cramped for two. Problem with low chair was resolved but only after talking to the manager. Breakfast room was quite small but breakfast was served until 11 a.m.; so, if you were not in a hurry, it was not busy. Selection of buffet food was quite good. Be careful of coming out of your bedroom and arriving at the top of the stairs - made me feel quite apprehensive sometimes. Overall, quite satisfied with my stay and probably would use this hotel again.

Close to Bastille, gate de Lyon, marche d’Aligre,… Staff very friendly and helpful with small problems. Room are renovated…. but a bit old as is the elevator typical from old Paris building (very limited capacity). Breakfast was ok, but not the best of the Accor group in Paris.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was beautifully furnished, the staff were very helpful and polite, and my room was very pleasant with great pillows and very comfortable bed. My only complaint was that another guest kept very late hours and was quite noisy, waking me up both nights.

I liked the hotel, the location and the breakfast. When I entered the room there was a smell though as if the room hadn’t been aired. Also it was as if the airco hadn’t really cooled the room and that during a heath wave. In some little details I noticed the lack of cleanliness (dust on objects).

We were away from internet and busy telling our friends how wonderful the accommodations location and staff were to fill out this survey. The location is superior, safe, near gare de Lyon, two fab restaurants across street, and the lobby areas are ideal for multigenerational groups to gather and visit before family event or even a business meeting . Lobby is well lit with private, spacious places to visit. Rooms are lovely with big frig, great storage in bathroom and bedroom, comfortable beds, ok lights and good hot water. It was so quiet each night! Got Great sleep but could use softer pillows, and tutorial on turning heat to ac. There are rooms with balconies with a view and I adored having an electric tea pot in my room with a table, stool, and chair. Staff were so helpful with literally everything, especially snafus with bigbus tour, helping me to postpone a tour when my spouse got sick, letting us pay half day so we could check in early, and arranging a service to pick us up from airport as well as helping with other Internet or translation woes. In addition, I needed my lactose free milk microwaved a few times a day, and everyone on staff was kind and accommodating. The staff made the stay personal and extra special. They saved the day many times. Thank you!
