The location close to the Gare de Lyon is excellent. The photos of the rooms on the website showed nice pastel colours for the bedrooms. However our room was painted substantially in black which was rather disquieting and very disappointing. The hotel staff were excellent as was breakfast. The shower was rather difficult as it took some time for hot water to come on stream. The room had carpets. Like Ibis hotels, wood or hard floors would be preferred by us as they are more hygenic.
