I stayed for 11 nights - room was clean, and acceptable. It would be nice if breakfast can be changes a bit - the meal is the same everyday. Language is a challenge, but it is getting better. Mini bar in the room was not stocked appropriately. Gym equipment not functioning 100% - cardio equipment is usually used by business travelers - not working. No towels in the Gym. Finally, no service in the bar - had to wait a long time for service.

The location suits perfect to me, the room are spacious and comfortable, all personal was very helpful and friendly. Please, repair the windows rubber seal, water is coming into the room during the rainy days.

I stayed at this hotel 3 times. In 2014/15, 2018 and this year. The hotel decayed in the past years. Poor maintenance: Leaking window in my room; dark room (terrible to put contact lenses on, to work); doors and walls in corridors, gym and pool areas would benefit from some maintenance and paint; gym with same light and equipment problems found last year. Besides that, you are in Minas Gerais with a lot of foreigners. Why don't you value more what is local? I am used to staying in tiny hotels in small poor cities in Minas Gerais and experience better breakfast, with regional products, fresher juices, variation of local fruits provided. I miss the coffee machine in the room.

I am always satisfied during my stays here! The hotel and restaurant staff are so friendly and professional! Patricia, Vivian and Mylena are wonderful! And Carlos has such a great smile and always makes everyone feel so welcome! The rooms and beds are so comfortable, they have a great fitness center and pool, the Santa Fe restaurant consistently has very good food and excellent service! The young lady who makes the omelets in the morning also has a wonderful smile and makes the best omelets ever! I love staying at this hotel!!

My preferred hotel in Belo Horizonte, staff are great, rooms are huge with comfy beds & a good shower. Breakfast has a great selection & a chef on hand for additional items. The hotel is located in a nice area, less than an hour from the airport and across from a busy shopping centre with a wide range of shops & restaurants (Madero is best). All around a great hotel when visiting Belo!

The reception was very helpful in providing a US-style adapter plug. It would be nice if at least one outlet in the room could accept a US-style plug. Alternatively, one or more USB outlets could be provided. These are needed for charging the devices like cell phone, iPad etc. I would have liked a coffee-maker in the room.

My overall experience was great. The staff team is wonderful! However I had two problems: 1) the room was smelling some paint or similar 2) the internet was so terrible that I could work at night.

The room service and restaurant service was terrible. When I rang room service I was either left waiting for ages for someone who spoke English to come along and help me or my call would be disconnected - one night I believe that I rang 4 times to get what I wanted. One evening, after spending 30 minutes at reception paying an interim bill because my bill was over 3000 real, I went to eat dinner in the restaurant. I ordered my food and one hour later I still had no food. When I got a waitresses attention EVENTUALLY she totally dismissed me and at that point I left in tears as I was hungry and had wasted precious working time waiting. The excuse I got was that the order system had broken down but no one communicated this to me during the hour. I could not believe that the drink that I had while waiting was actually charged to my room - it is surely normal practice to not charge for the beverage as an apology to the customer. The day before my departure a member of reception OFFERED to book a car for me to the airport but there was no car waiting for me the next day at the designated time and I was behind schedule. I asked for an electric kettle for my room so that I could make coffee as I was staying there for 9 nights and that was refused. My room rate included breakfast, yet when I order breakfast on room service the breakfast was charged for again when I expected a tray service charge only. I will never stay here again as it was just one disappointment after the other. It is definitely not a home away from home experience.

I stayed on Sep 26/27 2019 and, although a good hotel, I did not have a good customer experience. I forgot my phone charger in the hotel room, then I called the customer services and they direct me to send an email to h8… with my request and my home address. I sent the email as directed on Sep 30 2019 and did not receive any feedback on the email about mailing me back the phone charger. I accepted to pay for the mailing costs, but the customer services failed to provide me with the mail cost and also to send me back my phone charger.
