Very comfortable rooms and good showers and very nice breakfast. But room service is really poor. It took me more than an hour to get a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, which was not grilled, bread, cheese and ham really cold - and costed USD 5.00.

I am living at the Mercure Hotel in Belo Horizonte for one year and eleven months. It's been remarkable in many aspects. I became part of this big family and in many ways, this is the real feeling. The General Manager, Rodrigo Mangerotti turn out to be a great friend and I've learned with him a number fo lessons on how to conduct such a complicated undertaking with kindness and firmness as well. I am sure I'll never forget the years 2018 and 2019. I take this opportunity to wish the very best for all working ate the Mercure Hotel - Lourdes. It's been a great experience!

Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, but lacked that over-and-above vibe. One bottle of water per the three day stay?? Spa was crazy expensive.

Good hotel but overpriced

The hotel was chosen because of its great location and good reputation. We decided to book it even though the price was higher than we expected. For its price, we found the room to be overpriced. The furniture in the living room was old and very outdated. As for the employees, they were all very attentive and polite.

It was terrible, at 5 am a loud noise wake me up I suppose that was the water pipe of the neighboring room When complaining with the front desk, they just apologized for the situation, it was not enough for me

another bad experience: i stayed in a room with a very, very cinnamon scent. It was nauseating. the cleaning lady explained to me that even though smoking is prohibited, some of them smoke in the room and the cinnamon scent is to help clear it up. i couldn't stay in my room when I first arrived so i opened up all the windows but later that night, it was still almost unbearable. although the room and service were very good, it was far from an enjoyable experience.

bad service at reception

Always enjoy coming back but the help from the 'new' staff at the reception is definitely worse as the old staff. The service has gotten less professional and less polite. When help is needed for problems with the room or laundry you have to ask multiple times and keep reminding them before they actually take action. I have been coming to this hotel every weekend for almost one year and the service at the reception has never been this bad and slow. Might also have to do with the fact that there are a lot of new people behind the reception desk and just a little experienced people to train them or inform them how it is properly done. Service for the rooms and the restaurant is still great though. After one year returning nearly every week there is a very personal service and always get a warm welcome in the restaurant and gym.

I felt so comfortable and admired the hospitality and privacy I had. I would recommend just being more concerned about cleanliness, because I found chocolate packaging and also dust under the double bed. Also, I noticed that the bathroom shaving mirror was smudged with fingerprints, meaning proper cleaning and disinfection was not performed.
