I stayed on the 14th floor for 7 nights and felt the experience fell short of the price point. A major factor in my rating is the location; while it’s in Lourdes, it’s in a very commercial pocket. All the major, vibrant restaurants are actually closer to the Novotel, and the few options immediately around the Mercure are overpriced. Even finding a grocery store or supermarket required a 15 minute walk, which was inconvenient. The room itself was quite outdated, and the lack of soundproofing on the door meant I heard every noise from the hallway. Additionally, the elevators were slow and prone to issues, which is a real problem when you're on a high floor. Given that the price difference between here and the Novotel was only $200 for the week, the trade-off in quality and convenience wasn't worth it. I expected better service and facilities for the premium price charged.
