I walked into the hotel planning to either book directly or through the third-party app that showed plenty of availability. I was warmly greeted by Givam, who made me feel immediately welcomed and gave me a good rate that included breakfast and taxes, as well as a quiet, high floor location. The next day, I was delighted to receive a handwritten note and two chocolates on my bed, likely courtesy of Givam. That was a really nice touch and made me feel at home at the Novotel. I plan to stay here on future visits to BH.

Good overall service, helpful motivated staff, clean room and everything needed for a comfortable stay; I especially appreciate a service in the room for heating water. Last time I stayed here, I did not have this service, I went to the desk and asked for a water heating device and was told that I could not have one. So, this last stay in July 2024 was a high quality improvement.

Givam, the receptionist went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and get our suit ready before a wedding we had. If you don’t know Portuguese, he’s the one to go to . Exceptional! The hotel is in great location too by downtown. Nice hotel and friendly people.
