I stayed at Novotel BH Savassi with my wife and in-laws, and the experience was far below expectations for a Novotel. Our first room had a leaking toilet that flooded the bathroom. After moving to another room, we found towels with large stains that looked like blood. The next day, despite asking for our room to be cleaned before we left in the morning, we returned late in the afternoon to find it untouched. The shower also had dirt and buildup that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. My in-laws’ room was in similar condition, with marks on the bathroom wall that even the cleaning staff admitted shouldn’t have been left. The entire hotel appeared to need maintenance, with visible leaks on several ceilings and corridors. We reported all of this to reception, and staff agreed this wasn’t the standard expected from Novotel, but nothing was offered to make up for the situation. Given the very poor experience, I believe there should be at least a partial refund or some kind of compensation.

Shower area needs to be cleaned with bleach and scrubbing floor. Toilet area the wall is urghhhh.

Room is spacious and bed is nice. There is too much noise from inside the hotel that I can hear, something that seems an engine, I could hear it all the time, and I when someone from, I don't know exactly, above was taking a shower, I could hear it and the noise of water being drained through the drain in my shower, the noise was very loud.
