The shuttle was running and picked me up at the airport. The welcome went smoothly and I was given a room upgrade. The lady at the help desk printed my Pre-embarque document and had the bell-boy bring it to my room. The bed was really comfortable. The wake-up call was on time and my surname was pronounced correctly. As I was going to miss the breakfast I asked if I could have some fruit - I was given a packet of fruit when I checked out with a guava, an apple, a pear, strawberries and grapes and the fruit was sweet. The shuttle was running at 2 am and dropped me off at the airport again.
It s always good to return to the Pullman at GRU / I truly feel "at home"

I was very impressed with the level of care about Covid Protocols. Arriving from Europe I honestly felt extremely safe and it was obvious that the staff in all the areas of the hotel have been very well trained to abide by the protocols. check-in was a breeze which is one of the things I really appreciate after a long flight and breakfast in the morning is always the best way to start a day. But perhaps the best feature is the soundproof rooms and corridors, the hotel is really an oasis for a good rest!

Had a long layover at GRU and stayed in the Kids Club Room with my family for a day use. From the moment we arrived, Luan made us feel like home, meeting us to assist with luggage, taking is to our room and explaining all of the amenities to us. He realized that my Portuguese was not very strong and switched to English to make me feel more comfortable. He is definitely a shining star at the Pullman and an excellent person to make the first impression. The room was not set up for a kids visit when we arrived. Last year, they had a tee pee one visit and the bathtub full of balls the second time. They had crayons in the room but no paper to color on. After visiting the front desk, they did adjust and provide the balls and paper for my son to play. The wifi account was not set under my last name and I had to again visit the front desk to connect to the internet. As part of the room, the hotel provided a drink ticket for the bar that was written as “2+1” which was explained to us as 2 adults + 1 child, however, when my husband (a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker) went to get us the drinks, he was insulted by a member of the wait staff and told that he was trying to lie and they would not give a juice for my son. We would have paid had it not been included, but the front desk told us it was and we went to the front desk for clarification. The waiter then changed his story saying the kids juice needed to be in plastic. Not a problem!! All in all, this visit was very different than our previous visits to this hotel. It felt disorganized and not as smooth as our other visits. That being said, the front desk staff was very friendly and quick to correct or respond to concerns. We will be back next year.

Few pointers I would change: -cleaner rooms (found previous guest hair on phone and fake eye lashes on towel) -make sure coffee machine works (couldn’t make nexpresso as offered) -have bed sheets and not just comforter
