The people working here are wonderful. The room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was good and despite the hotel being fully booked for a dental convention, things ran smoothly. My gripe is that the room did not include what I think of as standard in hotels of this level -- a coffee/tea maker. I'd just stayed at the Novotel Trade Center Hotel in Dubai where a coffee maker was provided, as was a robe, which was was absent in Sao Paulo. But what really got me was the ironing board that was provided when we requested one with an iron. The feature that is supposed to support the iron was broken and could not support the iron. Worse still was that the two diagonally opposed feet of the four on the board's legs were missing. This meant that the board rocked in either direction. Ironing is not my favorite task, but I willingly do it to be professional in a business setting. I really don't need the aggravation of an unstable surface with a hot item. It was too late to wait for it to be changed. It should never have been brought to a guest in the first place. It was an insult to the Organization that hosted us at this hotel.

My one‑night stay at Novotel São Paulo Center Norte was more amusing than relaxing. I had no coffee to start the day, a fridge that buzzed like it was auditioning for a nightclub, a shower with water pressure so gentle it felt shy, and a bed so high it needed its own climbing instructions. Not terrible, but definitely memorable in all the quirky ways.

Bed was broken. Room service was only 1 of the days. Son got sick from breakfast. Called for towels and they said come down and get them. The eggs were good at breakfast.
