We booked this hotel because of the pool. When we arrived 4pm our room wasn’t ready. Only one lift was working, and it was extremely slow as the staff was using the lift too. No prior notice or told by the staff on arrival that the pool was closed. Overall the place was tired and dirty. Staff ok. I was so upset we thought about going to another hotel but it was the last 2 nights of a month long holiday in Brazil which left a bad feeling.

I stayed in one of their privilege apartments room and it was amazing 🤩 customer service was 10 /10 food 10/10 …the view from the room amazing I loved the small details in the room I love the card notes I love the free gifts I love everything definitely recommend and I am a English speaker and they spoke English fluently so that was a plus extremely clean space

Clean and serviceable rooms, but the bed linen and towels could do with replacing, and the bathroom needs updating. Friendly and helpful service at the desk.

The transfer was good. Then, when moving in, problems began. There was no water in the jug at the reception. When we checked in, we needed hot water, but there was no kettle in the room. Then we called the reception where we were told that they could not provide a kettle and offered to contact the restaurant, but the restaurant was already closed. Thus, we, the silver members, were left without hot water in the 4* hotel. The breakfast was great, although the choice does not match the hotel of this level. The next day we decided to visit the pool and it was a fatal mistake. Firstly, there is no staff at the pool and no one gives out towels, secondly, the water is so muddy and dirty that we didn't risk trying it. During the check-out, no one helped us with 4 suitcases even though my wife is pregnant. Definitely this hotel is the worst Mercure where we have been and the worst 4* hotel where we have been in our lives.

it was probably nice in the 1970ies but clearly needs some revamping. Damaged window letting hot air and noise in; prehistoric air conditioning without temperature sensor and with very poor flow management; appalling lightning inside the flat (switches are hard to find but once you have lit up you regret having found the switch as the light is so misplaced and miserable); huge private surface with a complete living room that is plain useless because not air conditioned...
