The personal working at the hotel was the only good thing at the hotel. Beds were super uncomfortable, the hotel in general is not very clean.

We stayed at Ibis Guarulhos for one night before our GRU-MIA flight and another night before our GRU-SCL flight. The hotel offers an hourly shuttle service from the airport, which is very convenient. However, some of the drivers can be impatient—if you're not ready or don’t have the exact hotel address at hand, they may get frustrated and leave, almost stranding you at the airport. This nearly happened to us the second time we arrived at GRU and waited for the shuttle—the driver almost drove off without us. I'm not sure if this is the hotel's fault or the shuttle service provider’s. Our first stay was not the best experience. My husband got locked in the bathroom because the door was in poor condition, which was frustrating. However, due to the hotel's proximity to the airport and affordable price, we decided to stay here again before our flight to Santiago. Fortunately, our second stay was much better. The room was significantly better than the first one, and the front desk staff was very friendly during check-in. The hotel also has a small restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner, which is convenient. In addition to the free shuttle from the airport, the hotel offers a shuttle back to the airport for 10 BRL per person, which is a useful option for travelers. We were a family of three, including our 10-year-old daughter, and the room was comfortable for us. Overall, while the hotel has its downsides, it is a practical and budget-friendly choice for a short stay near GRU Airport. If they improved the shuttle service experience and room maintenance, it would be a much better option.

horrible experience, front desk clerk (trainee) made a mistake and booked airport transport 1 hour later than asked (6:30am instead of 5:30am). Upon showing up at 5:30 she said she cannot do anything and it was our problem (group of 12), the manager in charge didnt help at all, and on top of that the driver was extremely violent almost hit us and didnt drove us to the airoport. We ended up hiring a private transfer to the airport after a horrible experience with our kids crying and afraid of what was going on with these crazy and violent people
