Last year, you had quite a wide selection for your breakfast. And it was served to your table in the breakfast room. This year, under similar Corona restrictions from the government, you only got one rather small lunch box. Even though hotels were allowed to open their indoor restaurants for guests. At least hot beverages were free.

I had to go to Munich on business during the lockdown and so wanted a hotel that had a nice comfortable room as it's not possible to go out in the evening and this fitted the bill perfectly. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very quiet with just the correct temperature! Even though breakfast was in a paper bag to be taken back to the room, it was still good and with free (decent tasting) coffee on tap in the foyer, my stay was just right.

Quiet and decent hotel near the center

Very nice and friendly reception personal. The only disturbing fact was that the ventilator in the room could not been shut off completely. Even if you pull out the card. This is why I had a little bad night.

We had the best stay in München. Clean rooms, nice staff and very good breakfeast. The location was a good balance between close to Mitte and in good distance. The parkhaus had lots og Space. The only negative ting was the cost of the parkhaus.20 euro. That is to much.

pros: -location -staff - "suite" for a family of 4 is very good - breakfast is good and the products have high quality - public transportation available and underground at a 2-4 walking distance from the - hotel is very "children oriented" excelente experience and whenever in Munchen, this will be our 1st choice again

i had a business trip to Munich with customers , i made a reservation for 7 rooms everything went perfect , the breakfast was excellent , the hotel location is just less than 5 minutes to the station , rooms are clean and front desk were always very helpful , i recommend this hotel for business or leisure trips

Great rooms and food ,great bar .I have travelled to 25 countries, many destinations , but this is the first time in my life I had to pay a 150Euro security deposit for a room I pre-payed .I stayed in Ibis at least 30 times in the past, which is part of the chain and had not payed deposit.It upset me as it shows distrust . Also , in my 3 night stay, my room was cleaned once. So I spent 600 Euro, which is 3 weeks wage in my country and my room was only cleaned once. When I brought this to the attention of reception , there was a dry I am sorry , which sounded like a copy paste response , but there was no honest concern to address the matter. Even though the food and facilities are great , I will not stay again , as I do not like the attitude . Demand deposit for prepaid room and not clean the room. No thanks

First I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the problems regarding the house-keeping. Please rest assured that I have already looked into this and taken steps - and within my team I will make sure that negative experiences are a rare exception in the future. Regarding the security deposit for a room I would like to explain that this is standard in all Novotel. I would like to ask you for understanding. Great location, funky lobby/ bar area, small and stuffy rooms though. Reception staff excellent, restaurant/ bar staff terrible. Room had zero ventilation- window cracked, but not enough, AC was not working. Breakfast staff awesome. Very hard to rate this hotel as all over the place. Service is the make/ brake of a hotel stay, unfortunately with this great location and funky interior, the service was not good, aka, attitude.
